George Clooney to attend White House Correspondents' Association Dinner

I haven't as I've been here. But, I'm taping it, so I'll watch later.

he's been shown a few times. Jimmy Kimmel mentioned him so we got a close up, yummy!!!!!

I'm happy cause it looked like he was having a really good time. He wasn't spotlighted and that's ok. Glad actually that Stacy isn't with him. I think his presence at this event is more effective without her, and that's not meant to be a dis to Stacy. I just hink flying solo is a better option at this type of venue for him.

FYI - started a new thread under the "girls" section for Stacy's absence at the dinner tonight. I'm sure there will be many theories to discuss.

Man, George sure did manage to stay off the radar for the most part, didn't he? With a few exceptions of Kimmel's references to him and some twitter pics, he def wasn't the main attraction and I kinda expected him to be a bit of a focus, what with all the media buzz about his attendance. Well, good for him. He probably liked not having the cameras in his face.

I don't know whats up with these stories, but I saw her standing beside him on live feed. She had her hair done up and they were in a darkened area, talking to ppl. But she did looked pissed. Couldn't tell what she was wearing tho as I could only see that neck and head above everybody. George was having an animated conversation with someone. they had just got up from a table and moved into this darker area it seems. I think they just avoided cams and for some reason, put out the no show story. I watched it on zap2it from popsugar's link.

Saw them sitting together too a couple of times, but their area was darker, during president's speech and Kimmels.

Personally, I would never even think of wearing a dress like the first pic, that showed that much boobage to an occasion as dinner with the president.

I am a bit confused about this dinner tho. The group shot of the president and his wife show her wearing one dress, but then a photo of her talking with Jimmy Kimmel, shows her with another dress. Did she change?

White House Correspondents’ Dinner: George Clooney offered Noah Wyle bail money?

George Clooney, who was swarmed during Saturday’s White House Correspondents’ dinner by scads of autograph seekers and mobile phone photo requesters, said he was well aware that his former “E.R.” co-star, Noah Wyle, was arrested in Washington last week.

“I saw it, when he got handcuffed,” said the Oscar-winning actor/director, who himself was arrested March 16 outside Washington’s Sudanese Embassy for protesting the hunger crisis in Sudan. That occurred a few weeks before Wyle’s April 23 arrest during a protest against Medicaid cuts.

“And I wrote him,” Clooney laughed. “I said, ‘Do you need bail money?’”

“He’s a good kid,” Clooney continued, referring to Wyle. “What, he’s a kid — he’s 40. He’s a good man and I’m happy to know him.”

When this reporter suggested that Clooney’s next mission should be to get Anthony Edwards, another “ER” co-star, arrested for protesting some important policy issue, he quipped, “We’ll get everybody arrested. Last time I was here [in Washington] I was in handcuffs.”

Clooney, who attended the dinner as a guest of Time magazine but sans girlfriend Stacy Keibler (he told Politico she was working on her role in the TBS sitcom “Men at Work” and therefore had to bow out of attending), also responded to a question related to his recent directorial effort, “The Ides of March.”

When asked if he would like to work on another political film, he said, “I just like doing films. I don’t really think of it like looking for political films. I just do films that I’m interested in, and I was interested in the same subject mater and thought I’d do it. You know. You don’t look for genres in particular, you look for good scripts.”

And does he have a favorite moment from the presidential campaign season so far?

“Because I’m an old Democrat, I kind of try to stay out of the Republicans’ primary and let them do their thing,” he said. “Then during the general election, you have a conversation about it. That seems to be the fair thing to do.”

Fairness in politics? Ah, the audacity of Clooney.

George Clooney and Barbara Walters are all smiles at the Bloomberg & Vanity Fair cocktail reception at the residence of the French Ambassador following the 2012 White House Correspondents’ Dinner on Saturday (April 28) in Washington, D.C.

The 50-year-old actor attended the event without his girlfriend Stacy Keibler.

“She couldn’t make it. She’s working,” George told Politico. Stacy is hard at work on an episode of the upcoming TBS comedy Men at Work.

“Excited to work on set today with my friend @dannymasterson & his new show @MenAtWorkTBS. You guys will love this show!” Stacy tweeted earlier in the week

Actress Rosario Dawson.

She has a bit of Obama history. She attended the Democratic National Convention in Denver, Colorado in 2008 when Obama was officially nominated as a candidate for U.S. president. She was involved in campaigning in the Latino community to get them to go out and vote in that election. I think she attends a number of fundraisers and has been an activist for immigration issues , meeting with the President to discuss, much like George has with Darfur.

Thanks ladies - she doesn't have a very feminine face but with those boobs she proved she was a woman. LOL

Loos like she had a boob job and decided to take the bolt on's out for a spin.

And if you do a search on her on one of the photo sites, you will see she has an interesting history of fashion choices. I don't think this is a woman who uses a stylist.

The top picture is the President and First Lady with the British Prime Minister David Cameron and his wife, which was taken weeks or months ago. They must have mixed in this picture with the WHCD pics.
