IMO italians won't give up to wish a "wedding summer" so easy...and these news are a great argument for pressure them if these rumours grow up.

I think the Italians know there will be no wedding any summer. It has been made pretty clear! The both of them being bi is a new twist but alot of what they say is what some of us have been saying. It will be interesting to see how this plays out especially as she is on yet another holiday with her girlfriends and hasn't seen George for a few weeks except maybe a day or two. If the US pick it up then it will be really fun. The split will either happen or she will show up on set!

This is a little different from one I remember where she was hanging all over him. I think it was the same place because I remember the double image (from the mirror they were facing). But, we've not seen ANY video or pics with that much animation or expression in a very LONG time.

In the original article there isn't a single word about lawyers in California but for some reason that italian sites and now others have said there was. I really don't think George or Eli will be happy about this cause at the end of the day they are saying George is gay and she is and the whole thing is a bad joke! Lots of places have picked this up so I don't see how the US is going to able to ignore it......It is what we have been saying except for the gay stuff but for most that is the simplest reason to have a PR girlfriend instead of the he is just lazy and doesn't want a real relationship! I think people have gotten sick of all the games especially the push by eli and her team for the engagement rumours. The Italian mags went into such overdrive and I'm sure they would love an engagement maybe some think this will push them into it. Or it will finally be game over...cause this has gotten boring! The ONLY reason that George would have a fake PR relationship is because he's gay. Hollywood has been doing this for the best part of century, it's nothing new.

As more and more fans insist on various websites that he's in a fake relationship, the more the idea gets out there that he's gay. It was only a matter of time before one media outlet would print what's being said online.

Now let's see if we get a denial from Stan, a photo opportunity of them both suddenly together or if George comes out.

If George isn't gay, then he can thank all of his so-called 'fans' running around the internet declaiming he's in a fake relationship for this mess. As this story gets picked up in media around the world, in a couple of weeks, George will be in the same situation as Tom Cruise and John Travolta, where everyone "knows" they're gay.

Another thing, even if it's (we all know) a rehashed article, it's the 1st time that French magazines/people questionned themself about the real merits of this relationship. They deserve usually the virtues of the beauty of the relationship based on the fact that she is still there, they are in love ...NOT that it's fake!

I don't believe George is gay but I don't believe he is madly in love with Eli or ever really has been. For me it seems a way for them both to get easy publicity and him to get people off his back about not being in a proper relationship. He was on his own on the red carpets for a long time it raised alot of questions so then he seemed to pick girls and take them with him. I think his relationship with her was a two way street and they both got things out of it but true love no. It seems to be the same posters I read over on IMDB pushing the gay thing and they seem to come up every so often usually when things are looking a little rocky for Eli or people are raising questions. This does more then just the usual it pretty much called them out on it being fake most don't go that far. They have been paying attention and they do hit the spot. They have hardly been together for several months now when they could have been together alot more. Her showing up now is just going to prove their point really, she hasn't exactly ran into his arms even though this was her reason for leaving straight after san remo. When I said didn't see it coming I meant George not us. We all have been talking about this stuff for ages. I agree with her on this but we all know, too that since this relationship started in July/09 the italian media always insists to push out the "fake romance" and the rumours about Clooney being gay.
It's started in Italy at the same time they started as a couple and still is saying in many websites and print media about a "agreement not a relationship".
About being gay or not Clooney probably never will out of these rumours, bc people -in whole world- always insists on these subjects when a man, an adult man, decided don't get married/ or have kids.

You got it! My first gut reaction was that EC/Val were behind this. He hasn't appeared happy in the last few months when with her, I was guessing he was finding the right time to break it off. He comes across as someone who has a hard time in doing that (breaking up) without some type of guilt - IMHO.

So, let's play the "fake romance" card and George has no choice but to keep me around to once again, prove the press and posters wrong.

The press writes whatever it thinks will sell stories. Given that everything they write is gossip and therefore as liable to be true as it's false (or vice versa) they aren't particularly bothered either way whether what they write is correct or not.

To the best of my knowledge, this is the first time that anyone has said in print that George may be gay. That's pretty serious and it could be damaging. Let's see how far this spreads.

I don't care which way he swings, but a significant number of people would which is why he could never come out.

Would I be hurt if he did come out? Not hurt, no, but disappointed. George's public persona is of being a straightforward guy, what you see is what you get, who doesn't hide anything, whether it's sleeping with too many women or doing drugs.

To answer your question about whether George could ever confirm that he had an agreement, my answer is that I don't think he can. As I said before, the only reason for having such an agreement is to hide the fact that he's gay and the whole world knows that. Even if he denies it till he's blue in the face, he wouldn't be believed once it came out that his girlfriend was a business agreement only.

Ive worked in and around LA for some time (not so much now that the babies are here and I am in a no fly time) but Ive heard a lot fo crap, some proven false, some proven true and surprsied me. But of anything Ive ever heard of Geoege gay wasnt one of them. Of course it would be said that I wasnt listening, but there you go.
