We have never seen her with any of the boys-girls,the only one I've seen in a photo with her smiling is Randi. It seems odd to me that after all this time as the GF why there are no photos of close friendships,all the get togethers,bar-b-ques,bike rides,vacations,and nothing poor ELI all alone on the beach with her butt camera and sometimes one of her friends.They must socialize with her since George spends so much time with his friends.

Between Belen and Canalis There's bad blood

Between the two leading ladies who have represented the San Remo Song Festival in the atmosphere was heavy, the indicrezioni that came out behind the scenes show that there were disagreements, even the two women apparently can not stand and were held at a safe distance, together only when they were imposed on the stage.

Behind the smiles that we have seen appear in magazines and newspapers and even TV programs, including the first two women to live Sanremo was very tense and nervousness behind the scenes have been able to palpate the Ariston mainly because of continuing disagreements between them, Belen Rodriguez and Elizabeth Canalis. Briefly the reasons for the disagreement between Belen and Canalis:
Elizabeth spent hours and hours on the phone with her boyfriend George Clooney, for this often break test was prolonged, causing significant delays to the entire cast, not to mention that the canalis and Belen does not bore and thereby avoid being together on the same stage, except when it was for them.

Canalis in the pas de deux was the terror of the dancers stamped their feet constantly, often blurts out comments like: "Luckily, she had studied dance!" Furthermore, the poor exhausted Morandi was more to the whims of the two that the fatigue of prove. In as to eat more of Canalis Rodriguez, but she allowed herself more American junk food and without food, and this was to be strictly imposed for both thin.

Canalis makeup was pretty demanding, while Rodriguez is a little less, and the same for your hair, so that among the staff were said to count the days until the end of the Kermesse. In addition, Belen is a tune and Elizabeth little less, why he lived this terrible disparity.

Elizabeth confessed that Hollywood is good although not miss Italy but the Italians, especially journalists, instead of Belen, who was born in Argentina, she found "America" in Italy, which made Gianni Morandi proud of Belen.

I find this one hard to believe. What with the time difference and that George is a professional when it comes to work, I doubt he would hold up production for the music fest. Plus, he's so busy himself. But, who knows???

Am I the only one who doesn't understand how they let her dance with fishnets so ripped that they were disgusting? This is suppose to be a major event. Her butt sags, her lap dance (IMO) is her only talent. Butt(yea spelled that way) that's to be expected. George on the phone with her for hours???? Not according to all the photos we've seen.

Google Arcora, Ruby, Berlusconi Canalis and Clooney. I can imagine her huddled up in a corner whispering on the phone. No wonder she's looking to live a quiet life in America!

I don't know. I find it hard to believe he was actually on the phone talking with her. Now, her on the phone trying to get a hold of him.....that I believe.

We have seen pics of Ben's wife with her when they all went bikeriding and had had lunch with Randi. She didn't look impressed with Eli either. I think by now the girls of the boys have gotten used to Georges woman they don't seem to get too attached to any of them.

She was probably put on hold for hours at a time and that is why it took so long. Dont see George being that unprofessional plus he doesn't have the time to spend hours talking to her. who knows could be another boyfriend! Sounds like the lovefest is over and Eli isnt coming out of it well at all. she should go to LA George is in Ohio for awhile so it would work out well for him!

To be honest, I'd be surprised if she really did something like this. I don't think she would be that unprofessional.

I don't believe that she was on the phone for HOURS with George either. He has been tooooo busy and we have pics and tweets to prove that! Plus, I can't see George being one to be on the phone for HOURS. Maybe he recorded something for her - I know - "this is your English lesson for today. Now just listen..."

You got that right Dex. I wonder how many of the "girls" try to sit George down and tell him like it is? Or, as I've stated before, has George totally alienated so many of his friends because of his choices of "girlfriends"?

IMHO his friends don't want to tell him because they don't want to lose the perks of being George Clooney's friends - vacations in Como, bikes, etc.

To be fair, we don't see pics of any of his girlfriends with his friends and I think that should tell us exactly how involved these women are in his life.

Seeing as we see almost nothing of George's private life with his friends, there's no way of knowing how much or how little time the girlfriend du jour spends with his friends.

George is well aware of the kind of woman he dates and doesn't need to be spoken to. He chooses to date this kind of woman precicely because she's that kind of woman. Do you guys seriously think George believes Betty is a sweet, nice girl?

I don't know, I wonder if George takes the time or consideration to learn anything about the women he dates. I think he goes for the easy test - how easily can she fit into his lifestyle, that is.

IF he ever did I doubt he does anymore Katie. I doubt the girls would intervene anyway it is Georges life and if he seems happy they probably don't worry. Eli has her own friends in LA anyway she seems to hang out with them alot.

It’s a good thing she’s smokin’ hot, because Elisabetta Canalis dancing is “non va bene” (Italian for not good). The 32-year-old Italian stunner, who’s currently dating George Clooney, recently performed, and I use that word loosely, a dance number to Ciara’s “Like A Boy”. The performance was for the 61st Italian Music Festival at the Ariston Theatre in San Remo, Italy.

Canalis wore a sexy outfit complemented with a top hat and tuxedo tails while doing her best impression of a hip hop music video girl. Throughout the entire performance, she seemed either a beat faster or slower than her backup dancers. Speaking of which, Valerio whom she introduces later is one sexy mofo. I’d ravage his cannelloni in a minute. Ahhhh, I digress.

If a North American actress had performed this, she would’ve been eaten alive by the press and blogsphere. You have to watch this cringeworthy performance. No joke, I had secondhand embarrassment for her just watching it. Poor, girl. I felt so bad for her. Oh well, at least she’s hot. If it’s true what they say about dancing skills being directly related to your lovemaking skills, I’m fear for George Clooney’s penis.

So what’s your verdict. Guilty of being rhythmically challenged in the first degree? Ironically enough, I read somewhere she got her start in the Italian entertainment industry as a dancer first before modeling or acting.

In the past few years it seems as if George's friends spend less time together;how often do you see or hear about Richard? Probably to much work and family, but it makes me wonder about his GF choices over the past few years.It just so hard for me to believe that out of all the women he could have a relationship with he chooses her!!The more I see of her or hear about her the less I like the person she seems to be.

Great and IMHO honest review about her dance number, I keep hoping to see some reason why she is chosen for television,some hidden talent that will explain why,but after this I can honestly say she has no talent it's only because she's GC-GF.

IMO she's no better or worse than anyone else he's dated in the past 10 years. They've all been self-serving gold-diggers with a dubious past.

You'd have to go right back to Celine to find a girlfriend who we'd generally all agree was acceptable. That was more than 10 years ago.

It's no coincidence that he ends up with this type of woman: he's choosing to be with them. He's dated two porn stars, a stripper, a self-professed go-go dancer and most of the women he's been seen with seem to have been scraped from the bottom of a Vegas bar at closing time. And not a nice bar.

I don't like Betty, but I don't think there's anything worse about her than about any of the others.

I think he chooses these women because he doesn't want to get serious with anyone. The relationship has boundaries which the ladies are aware of and he gets what he wants, when he wants it, the way he wants it.

I've always thought that bluebelle. But I don't think he will like her friend/pr person telling everyone they are living together etc cause that is how Celine got so much cash. She moved countries and didn't really have a career it seems Eli is trying to do the same thing. Dex, every time someone mentions the whole Celine palimony thing I would get SO confused. Now I suddenly realize the difference between palimony and PATRIMONY, which is what I totally thought everyone was talking about. I was like, "Celine didn't have a baby, did she?"

I really do think GC is aware of any legal issues resulting from his hook-ups. IMO he knows exactly what he is doing.

I agree. I think that is why GFs have actually lived with him for only short periods at a time. They seem to be there, then we learn through gossip that they are at their own homes. Back and forth.

Also agree, and have been saying for quite some time, he's with "these types" because he doesn't want a furture with them. IMHO

Alot of us have said it that we think EC and PR team is beating him at his own game. Its like they research his past and are TRYING to be one step ahead of him/Stan.

This seemed so odd to me when I read the Newsweek article. I wonder if they had just rephrased and recycled an old, old quote or if he really said this. So weird to just say something like that to a news magazine? Celebitchy read my mind! And LOL to the comment about Eli's lap dance!
