It truly amazes me how every time I read or watch one of his girlfriends interviewed she's sounds like George! What happens to them? They seem to get completely swallowed up by his likes-dislikes, lifestyle, goals.It must be the only way for them to fit in.

Doesn't SHE collect handbags and shoes! Pot calling kettle black. She can't embody all the roles, she hasn't been able to embody any of the roles and that won't change anytime soon. This is to try and put to rest that Voici article they will have a field day! I do love how she still has time for marriage and kids...but not with George!

Is it just me or does she seems to be doing all the compromising in the relationship? Do you think he turns down jobs so he can spend more time with her? She said previously that love is more important than work. I recall having these idealistic ideas, but I was 20 something, not 30 something. Maybe this is standard protocol for WAGs. Spending alot of time in airplanes, she obviously is the one running to him, not the other way around.

And I agree about being 30-ish and idealistic. I read that as insecure and submissive. Someone who is so at a loss as to who there are and what they want out of life ands what make them happiest, they find someone to project onto. So they don't actually have to make real decisions about their own life and pursue their own wants and needs. If they make everything about the other person then they don't have to look at how empty their own life is and then actually address that void.

i agree one hundred percent on that watching which book is that i want to download, and that may be explain the big chaos in elisabetta personality .

Yeah clearly she talks the talk but can't walk the walk. All of georges girls run after him he never goes out of his way for them. Just shows she is like all the others and nothing special. If she didn't fly to George he would never go to her as she has found out!

We also heard her say she's not a model either. It's strange that all of George's girls run after him, when George has said that he likes the hunt.

The hunt is only for getting the women. Once he's got them, he's not that interested, clearly!

Her behaviour is what I'd say is required to be a successful golddigger: the man has all the power in the relationship so you have to turn yourself (at least superficially) into whatever he wants from a woman. If you aren't the perfect dolly girl for him, then there'll be another along in a minute who will be.

It sounds cynical, but it's a game played the world over by many men and women. The man brings money to the relationship and the woman brings youth and beauty.

Katiedot, you are correct that game is played between men and woman all over the world. I guess at the end of the day/week/month/year, I still want to be myself. I can make compromises but the other person also has to make a few. Maybe foolish, but I would not want to control someone or have someone control me. I wonder when they realize that they don’t know who they are?

People should compliment each other, not control or alter someone to fit their own personal mold. I guess the 'strong independant woman' line was just bull.

Of course it was. Just as half of George's interviews about how he likes intelligent women and how "being thin isn't important". It's all for show.

BTW, that's not hypocrisy, that's human nature. Next time you're somewhere where it's important to make a good impression (job interview etc) listen to the good things you say about yourself. Every interview George or Betty do with the media is like that.

I agree with everything Snoopy said in above comment. The last two of his gf's(SL=EC) every comment out of their mouths sounds like George. EC seems to have become a new person as far as what she believes in, and yes we all grow and change,but you should know what you basically want from your life by thirty.

She's hooked up with some very rich and famous men who keep her in the limelight and perhaps buy her expensive toys. This may not be the career goal of most women but it has certainly worked for her.

I agree. My problem would be that I would forget which person I was for this one or that one, and confuse myself into single-dom over and over. If you can't be yourself and stand by your true values and wants and needs and desires, then you're nothing more than a puppet. If you don't like me for who I am and I feel the need to conform to your whims, then you're not worthy of me. But, give me the money anyway so I can pay off my bills.

I so agree with that. She knows exactly who she is and what she wants and that's to be rich and living a lifestyle hanging out with the other rich and hopefully famous people too. She's done it well, yes.

Does it make her happy? Dunno. I'm not sure that people like that really value happiness the same way we do. For her, happiness almost certainly is a new Prada handbag and a mention in the gossip pages.

That stuff can only sustain you for so long. In the not too distant future she will not have the hot body and will be older and not wanted as a trophy for rich men. Then she can look at all her handbags and think of all the men cause in the end the handbags will last longer unless she manages to actually get one down the aisle! That is really the golden ticket a marriage something she would have worked out by now she isn't going to get from George. He is being seen out and about makes me wonder why she is being so shy all of a sudden? Sortof defeats the purpose of going out with George if she can't get her pap shots.

i tell u dexter , they not going out together to make it low key and work harder on their relationship may be that's her way to get him down the aisle. u know every time they seen get alot of s**t comments and ppl might make george hate her that way. he is stubborn but he supposed to have senses like humans

Is there a point to this interview? Why is she being interviewed in France? Is it just because she is 'famous' or is she selling something? There is no mention in the article of Cavalli or Leverage which I would assume would be the jobs that might involve giving interviews to foreign press. Did I miss it? Is there a reason for the interview or is it just another attention seeking piece? It came out after San Remo, as far as I am aware she has no acting jobs coming up and her modelling gigs are predominantly in Italy so I don't get it. Or was this interview was done in the lead up to Cannes Film Festival so when she and George attended, the French press would have a clue as to whom she is. This would have been done a few months back. Long before we got word that The Descendants wouldn’t be screened. Didn’t she state previously in some interview that they were going to Cannes? Maybe this was her publicity lead in? Oh well. Maybe next time Betty.
You now only have to wait until October for Ides to be officially released to hit up a red carpet in your favourite role as the girlfriend of. October is long way away though. I think there might a LOT of tipped off pap candids this summer. She isn’t getting the coverage she once did.

I wondered what the point of it was too. The Voici article was from france so I think this is her way to try and sell we are happy together and normal etc. Wouldn't George have known awhile ago he wasn't going to cannes? It can't have been too much of a shock. We are seeing George and nothing of her and nothing of them together they haven't even gone out to eat together. There is low key then there is invisible and Eli is not the sort to want to be invisible!

The point of it, I think, is that the magazine wanted someone famous who hadn't already been written about to death by other French magazines and she was happy to do it.

It's all personal promotion for her.

Nobody noticed something amazing in this interview? She said she hanging out with her ​​3 dogs, except we all know that she hanging out with 2.

So who is the 3rd? Einstein we never saw him in US nor in Italy with her or did she adopt another rat dog?

Maybe she got one of the others back from one of her exes? It seemed as if whoever she was with in the past, they adopted a dog together. Some of the exes kept the dogs in the split. I wonder if George will keep Einstein, if he really exists. Maybe he was just a stray around Como, or belongs to one of the help?

I thnk she said in a interview that George adpoted Einstein, all the other dogs were biting him and he was doing better but still fat. Seeing as people refer to her and George's place in LA, Cabo and Como, I suppose she thought the dog also belonged to both of them. I am refering to the interview that her publicist put out about going to their house in LA. In photos you only see her with Mia and Piero, maybe Eistein is still too fat and she can't be seen with him?

I probably should quit reading interviews as I put to much stock in them. Like Katiedot said, PR, think of it as a job interview (good comparison). I still think if you oversell yourself or blow to much smoke, you will regret it later.

Snoopy, I think that's the issue that alot of us have with Eli. She has "changed" her story so many times in the last 20.5 months from being independent to being the girlfriend of...; wanting to be a big film star in America to being the girlfriend of...; from not being a model to being a model; from wanting to be a wife and mother to being the girlfriend of... So, I really can't follow from her interviews over the last 20.5 months who she really is, but I do think she needs a new PR team.

Well at least someone told her to quit calling anyone who critcized her as 'jealous, envious fans', at least not in public. But I agree, she needs new PR.

Lelacorb - I moved your posts here because this is about Betty and not George.

She sure is happy to see them but I doubt there were. She was papped on the 12th April and the pictures are only now surfacing on the 18th. I can only surmise that no-one bought the shots so they are now on the open market for blog use. She really has no draw in the States on her own as a celebrity. But then, she prefers to be the girlfriend of.....

Someone must have told her at some point that she had a double chin because every time that she spots the paps, her chin gets raised up a good two inches in the air. And unfortunately for her, with her attitude, it contributes to making her look like even more of a snobby cow.

Such a coincidence that the paps just happened to find her when she was driving around LA in a black car with tinted windows. She must stick out like a sore thumb. I mean, it’s never happened before. Unless you don’t count stopping and asking for directions at the petrol station. Or adopting a dog in the park. Or pulling into a parking space at a shopping centre right in front of where a pap just happen to be with a video camera and could spot her in a moving vehicle as opposed to all the other thirty something brunettes in LA. Or buying groceries at a supermarket. Now caught pulling over to buy a bottle of water. What a fluke. There must be a dozen paps on every sidewalk in LA. I’m surprised more celebrities don’t fall over them.
