George Clooney loves being a fun dad (Picture: FilmMagic) George Clooney will no doubt teach his children many important things in life but pretending to eat their own poo is apparently first on the list. The Ocean’s Eleven actor shares three-year-old twins Ella and Alexander with wife Amal Clooney and reveals how he taught them an epic prank for when guests come to stay.
Speaking to People magazine, George said: ‘They both have learned to play pranks, which is good fun. ‘I did work with them on putting Nutella in a diaper and then eating it.’
It sounds like Ella and Alexander have inherited their father’s world-class acting skills as they put on quite a performance when putting the prank into action. ‘Whenever a stranger is around, they’ll come in holding it, like, “Papa, it’s a dirty nappy!” and I go, “Okay, I’ll take care of it”, and then they eat the Nutella out of the nappy,’ George explained.
He added proudly: ‘You can imagine the freak-outs we get… Yeah, I taught them that.’

Amal and George married in 2014. George, 59, has used the coronavirus pandemic to spend more time with his family where his Hollywood career would typically have him jetting around the world on shoots.
However, he says it was his plan to be at home more often to enjoy Ella and Alexander in their formative years. ‘I haven’t been working as much as I had before we had the kids, so I had every intention of focusing on them [anyway], putting them to bed at night and stuff, so we didn’t need to be forced into that by a pandemic,’ he explained.
The actor is particularly relieved that the twins are still so young as he’s managed to avoid having to homeschool.
