"Nichts ist wie es war - Halberstadt im Clooney-Fieber", heißt es in einer Mitteilung der Stadt vom Freitagabend. Und weiter: "Für die Anwohner des Domplatzes wird es heute Abend interessanter sein, aus dem Fenster zu schauen und Hollywood live zu erleben, als den Fernsehapparat einzuschalten." Zur Besetzung von Clooneys neuem Werk gehören Matt Damon, Bill Murray und Cate Blanchett.

Offiziell bekanntgegeben wurde nicht, wann und wo gedreht wird. Weite Bereiche sind mit einem blickdichten hohen Zaun abgesperrt. Außerhalb davon stehen historische Militärfahrzeuge und Limousinen aus den 40-er Jahren. Die Straßenlaternen im Bereich des Domplatzes wurden ausgewechselt, Straßenschilder abgebaut. Komparsen in Wehrmachtsuniformen wurden mit Bussen in die Stadt gebracht.

Osterwieck. In Osterwieck kehrt wieder Ruhe ein. Zwei Tage lang ist die Stadt im Hollywood-Fieber gewesen.

Nichts ist so beständig wie die Veränderung. Gegenüber den vorab geplanten Drehstandorten für den Film "The Monuments Men" mit Regisseur George Clooney in Osterwieck hat es etliche Abweichungen gegeben. Am Freitag Abend sollten die Dreharbeiten in der Nikolaikirchgasse ihren Abschluss finden.

Auch bei Angela Paust standen die Filmleute vor der Tür. Plötzlich und unerwartet. "Mein Mann wollte das erst gar nicht glauben", sagte die Anwohnerin der Nikolaikirchgasse. An ihrem Haus wurden am Freitag noch Veränderungen vorgenommen, damit es in die Zeit der Filmhandlung zum Ende des Zweiten Weltkriegs passt. Der Torweg wurde umgebaut und hinter die Fenster kamen alte Gardinen. Mit Spannung erwarteten die Bewohner die Aufnahmen für den Abend.

Im Hagen war die Filmmannschaft um George Clooney bereits am Mittwochmorgen gewesen. Seit Montag waren die Fassaden von Babelsberger Kulissenbauern dezent verändert worden, allerdings nicht mit einem solch großem Aufwand wie seinerzeit im Jahr 2009 für den Goethe-Film.

Als Manfred Neikes am Mittwochfrüh vom Brötchenholen radelnd zurück nach Hause in den Hagen einbiegen wollte, wurde er von zwei jungen Security-Damen angehalten und musste erklären, wer er ist und wo er wohnt. "Ich begleite sie", bekam er zu hören. Schließlich freute sich der Senior, von einer jungen Dame bis zum Hauseingang geführt zu werden. So wie ihm erging es auch anderen Anwohnern, die am Mittwoch ihr Haus verlassen hatten.

Vom Filmdreh hat Manfred Neikes indes wenig mitbekommen. "Ich habe keinen Schauspieler gesehen. a hatte ja Klaus Baier einen Logenplatz."

Baier wohnt wenige Häuser weiter. Die Fassade seines langgezogenen Fachwerkhauses wurde gleich mit vier Geschäftsschildern versehen - für einen Büchsenmacher, Stellmacher, Holzhändler und einen Arzt. Die Gebäude gegenüber wurden durch die Kulissenbauer zur Bäckerei und zum Wirtshaus umgestaltet. Den Regisseur George Clooney hat Klaus Baier gesehen. "Cool, freundlich und nett am Set."

Zwei kleine, unspektakuläre Szenen wurden im Hagen wohl aufgenommen. Nach nur zwei Durchläufen waren sie im Kasten.
Geigenbauerin Renate Fink hat den großen Regisseur einmal vor ihrem Werkstattfenster im Hagen vorbeigehen sehen. Bis zur Kamera hatte sie aus ihrem Haus aber keinen freien Blick. Trotz der vielen Sicherheitsvorkehrungen seien "alle sehr freundlich und nett" gewesen, berichtete sie. Und sie beobachtete wahre Völkerwanderungen, wenn außerhalb der Drehzeiten Schaulustige durch den Hagen gingen.

Was die Clooney-Fans betrifft, muss es in Osterwieck sehr gesittet zugegangen sein. Am Mittwochmittag lief der Star unbehelligt über den Marktplatz. Am Abend soll er in der Nikolaikirchgasse sogar einer jungen Frau ein Autogramm gegeben haben.

Ursprünglich wollte das Filmteam Aufnahmen vom Kirchbergweg machen. Doch dort war wohl ein für 1945 eher untypisches Rapsfeld im Wege. Es wurde stattdessen anderswo in der Landschaft gefilmt. Berichtet wurde von Drehs zwischen Osterwieck und Schauen. Außerdem war gestern die Kreisstraße zwischen Lüttgenrode und Suderode gesperrt. Und spontan wurde noch ein Dreh am gepflasterten Stummühlenweg bei Stötterlingen vorbereitet.

Hollywood takes Cathedral Square in Halberstadt in possession. On the night of Saturday, George Clooney filmed in the city. In the late afternoon the star with a black sedan rolled onto Cathedral Square and greeted the fans.

Hollywood nimmt den Domplatz in Halberstadt in Besitz. In der Nacht zum Sonnabend hat ­George Clooney in der Stadt gedreht. Am späten Nachmittag rollte der Star mit einer schwarzen Limousine auf den Dom­platz und grüßte die Fans.

Halberstadt l Wieder und wieder dreht ein Mitarbeiter des ADAC den Schlüssel im Zündschloss eines alten VW-Kübelwagens um. Es knattert ein paar Mal, aber der Motor des rund 70 Jahre alten Kriegsfahrzeugs springt einfach nicht an. Ein Kollege sitzt währenddessen in einem ebenso alten Original-Auto der Wehrmacht, das ebenfalls für den Dreh des Hollywood-Films "The Monuments Men" in ­Halberstadt gebraucht wird, und hat dasselbe Problem.

Einige Minuten und etwa 20 Versuche später gelingt es dann doch noch. Rückwärts fahren die Männer die Autos vom Abschleppwagen des ADAC, mit dem sie am Freitag gegen 11 Uhr an der Westseite des ­Domplatzes vorgefahren sind. Unter den Blicken einiger schaulustiger Passanten, Fotografen und verfolgt von einem Kamera-Team bewegen sie die Oldtimer quer über den Schotter. Vor einem blickdichten Zaun, hinter dem die Hollywood-Crew bereits ihre Requisite versteckt hat, parken die Transport- und Aufbauhelfer die Autos.

Empfangen werden sie in der Mitte des Domplatzes von einem Dutzend Zaungästen, die aufgeregt ihre Smartphones aus der Tasche kramen, um die Szene mit der Handykamera festzuhalten. Noch haben sie Gelegenheit dazu. Doch im Laufe des Nachmittags stellen die Crew-Mitglieder immer weitere, mit Planen bezogene Zäune auf.

Obwohl der Domplatz ab 17 Uhr hermetisch abgeriegelt sein soll, haben einige Zaungäste Glück. Um 17.35 Uhr rollt George Clooney in einer schwarzen Limousine auf den Domplatz. Freundlich grüßt der Star die Fans.
Bereits im Vorfeld hatte es bei der Hochschule Harz viele Anfragen gegeben, ob die Schulgebäude für Zuschauer geöffnet werden. Die Räume hatte jedoch Babelsberg komplett angemietet.

Eile ist geboten, wenn die etwa 300-köpfige Hollywood-Crew um George Clooney in den Nachtstunden die großen Scheinwerfer ausschaltet und die Szenen für den Film im "Kasten" sind. Handwerker und Techniker haben dann etwa 24 Stunden Zeit für das große Aufräumen im Dom.
