Three days left to bid for lunch with George.
Still at $38,500.
Got an extra $41,000 lying around?
Will be interesting to see if anyone has been waiting till the last day to bid again.

The Going Rate for Lunch with George Clooney: $58,000
by Julie Miller
Last month, George Clooney agreed to auction off a lunch date to benefit GLSEN, the Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network, an organization that works to make schools safe for L.G.B.T. youth. At the time, the dreamy package was estimated to be worth $20,000—market value, we determined, for charitable meals with A-list actors. Less than a month later, however, the sale has ended with a final bid of $58,000, we’re told by CharityBuzz, the auction site that offered the once-in-a-lifetime experience with the Oscar winner and natural house-tour guide. The impressive sum was reached after a total of 20 bids were submitted by a dozen bidders. In addition to joining Clooney at the Soho House in West Hollywood, the lucky winner will also enjoy the company of entertainment journalist Dave Karger.
