Question? can anyone lipread?? I would love to know what Gee was saying, especially when Liz was smoothing his head, and then he gently says in actions "not now dear!". Up until then Gee didn't look out of sorts, but after the "stroke" his face changes, but then recovers to "I still like you, just don't do that!". Liz does push the boundaries. Also does the villa not have a driveway entrance, just straight onto the street?

They were the designers who dressed her for the cooking show the other day (as stated on Just Jared that both the dress and shoes were theirs) so this could be a thank you attendance.

Fashion note - She is wearing PINK trousers with a blue demin shirt. Next time she goes in to buy a new Prada handbag, they need to grab her and explain fashion to her because, just NO.

The fashion store in LA that Val stated she and Betty were setting up may be happening but it isn't anywhere near up and running as they don't yet have a space for the store in Beverly Hills. From Val's twitter account earlier this month:

I would never buy anything rom the store she plans to open in LA...This is hideous. Did she think she was making any fashion statement?

Gee that is just ugly and so wrong! If she was doing it as a favour going by her outfit it wasn't her idea. I would be embarressed to wear something like that. Her shop will be interesting in that "special" way. LOL So she is in Milan maybe at her own house!

Maybe it's a back door but yes there is a driveway entrance. I love watching the video it shows she can be very animated while at dinner but did have a pout when george stopped her from that awkward head rub. He seen the paps first and ignored then Maddy did and Eli did. The whole head rub just looked force and George didn't like it but I have seen sl do the same sort of thing and he returned the favour guess it depends on the girl.

Wow she really thinks she looks good that is what is so scary! Had her makeup and hair done too. Pity she didn't bother putting together a good outfit.

Interesting that she attended this menswear runway show but didn't attend the Cavalli menswear show on the 18th June 2011 in Milan. Maybe Cannes store opening, the press when in Cannes and the Vogue write up was the end of her current contractual obligations for Cavalli.

Does it matter, as long as she is photographed with George in public the implication is that they are a couple, still waiting on George to change the situation doesn't look like he's ready yet. Why? The Smiles and Songs TV is not fully informed of a program of its director, Alfonso Signorini? Or, simply, there was a stampede last hours of the most controversial characters in the cast? Who bought the last issue currently on newsstands and that the weekly television has always been known as adjutant of the Night Chef, the names of Elisabetta Canalis, Emanuele Filiberto and Rino Gattuso.

So, the washing of the dishes was planned, but was all the sarcasm from him planned? And to be told that you don't do anything, or haven't done anything, was that planned? Can't imagine anyone signing up to be insulted, even Eli.

According to Eli's pal they are trying to find the best space in Beverly Hills. I think they should aim a little lower cause the rents there would be huge and honestly going by Eli's dress sense I just don't see them doing well.

She actually backed out the cooking show or she was told to go. She was "offended"? Hmmmm something's up

My guess is that, alot of that guys comments weren't scripted, or not known ahead of time by Eli, she got pissed, and told him to f*** himself and left. How's that Honestly, wouldn't blame her. And yes, I think it hurt cuz it is too close to the truth, and that's what she's trying to overcome - her rep for not being good at anything.

The summer of PR love from Chi may have stopped before it started? Because I can't see Alfonsio being happy that his main PR drawcard for this show is gone. And possibly any pre-arranged exclusive access that he may have had through this project to Canalis / Clooney summer for Chi is now out the window?

I just don't understand her fashion choices. Who honestly thinks they look good, especially in her situation at a public event where she knows she will be papped, decides to wear a denim shirt, pink wide leg trousers, a tan belt with black strappy evening heels. Whilst carrying what looks to be a small brown purse (probably LV). I mean, it's a Jessica Simpson type outfit it is so bad.

This kinda has me thinking. What if, remember the big secret she was supposed to reveal, well – what if that big secret was George and she was to marry? And, of course, my favorite bachelor said, “NO!” And she didn’t reveal the “NO” until the day the show was being recorded. They had to keep her for that first episode but her contract was broken because they hired her for the “big secret”. - Just a theory.

IMO the whole Canalis "surprise" quote is a misunderstanding. She said in a interview something like " Sarò in un nuovo programma televisivo, sarà una bella sorpresa (I will be in a new program, the program will be a beautiful surprise".
She didn't have to reveal a secret, she hasn't a surprise coming up, she was talking about her hosting this new TV show. Likely

Excellent point about CHI's "summer connection"!! Also, wonder if she's in breach of her contract, or will Alfonso just let her off the hook?

I do think what the Chef said was mean, but she should have stayed out her contract and prove the Chef wrong. IMHO, walking away proves him right.

Also, I bet the program will get even higher ratings this week with Belen with all the negative press for EC and the press putting the two of them against each other.

Well, I was reading the gossip.it comments and in my understanding some peole said there that substituting Canalis fo rBelen make sno difference because the Italian version of the top chef is not good.

Some others didn't like Canalis in the show... So, it seems the show was not a success and she was to be chosen as the scape goat?! Please, Italian members, correct me if I understood it wrong...
