George Clooney rocks leather jacket with denim trousers as co-star Britt Robertson dazzles in cute checkered dress during London press call for Tomorrowland





He has spent the past few days touring the world to promote his latest movie Tomorrowland.

And on Monday, George Clooney continued with his busy schedule as he attended a press conference at London hotel Claridge's with his co-stars Britt Robertson and Raffey Cassidy.

The Hollywood star cut a casual, yet, stylish figure in a black leather jacket and denim trousers, which he teamed with a slogan printed T-shirt.

Touring the world: George Clooney attended a press conference for his latest movie Tomorrowland at London hotel Claridge's on Monday

The day before, he flew solo on the blue carpet without his lawyer wife Amal, who is back in the British capital with the actor following their stint in New York last week.





The film's leading lady Britt, 25, looked divine in a cute tartan-inspired dress, which flashed her slender limbs under the short hemline of the skirt.

She added some colour to the proceedings with vixen red heels that matched the hue of her attire, while wearing her long blonde tresses in tousled waves.

A new hit? The movie, which also stars British actor Hugh Laurie, is directed by Brad Bird (pictured) known for Academy Award-winning animated feature films Ratatouille and The Incredibles



Keeping her look understated and chic, the American beauty accentuated her pretty facial features with blush-tinted cheeks, smoky eyes and a pink lip.

Meanwhile, the upcoming adventure movie is based on Disneyland's themed land Tomorrowland, which was created in 1955.

Clooney plays former boy-genius inventor Frank Walker, who teams up with teenage science enthusiast Casey Newton to take part on a mission to unearth the secrets of a place somewhere in time and space.







The movie, which also stars British actor Hugh Laurie, is directed by Brad Bird, known for Academy Award-winning animated feature films Ratatouille and The Incredibles.

Speaking recently about his latest venture, George said it was the boundless potential in the film that made it so alluring.

‘I loved how hopeful it was, I thought it was a hopeful film and I don't often do hopeful films so I liked it,’ he explained. ‘I am an optimist but I don't often do hopeful films.

‘I think that it is a fantasy but I do love the idea that the future is up to you and there is something you can do about it.’

Tomorrowland is released in US and UK cinemas on May 22

Would be wonderful to think WWHS knew about this...........so much easier to go to the hotel............but you never necessarily know he's at that one now given he lives here from time to time

Like the black tshirt with the black leather jacket.  He looks so cool.  Love the last newzcard photo above with his hands in his pockets.  Great smile.

His face is a picture when Raffey Cassidy is talking at the press conference.............

George has to stop saying that he was always the tough guy when he was younger. He got his ass kicked on a regular basis in 'The Good German.' 

Of course, a lot of people should have had their asses kicked about that movie.

    George is back in his black leather and favourite t shirt.    

Oh.  The Casamigos tshirt.  Again?  Sigh.

In these pictures, George came out of Claridge's. Is he staying there or at Amal's house? Or was a press event held there?

a) he has used it before

b) in the interview with A J Calloway he says they're staying at a hotel cos the house isn't ready, and that Amal was there working

To be honest, given that the house is some way outside of London, I'd guess that even when it's ready they'll still stay in a hotel for work stuff like this.

Exactly, Katie. But of course Amal had/has a place in Notting Hill too............

Assuming she didn't sell it (and I can't think of a reason why she would - it's still handier for work than their home in Sonning).

I still think they'll keep on using hotels, if for no other reason than to avoid having the paparazzi parked outside her house all the time when George is home.

So, why buy the house? That's a really expensive investment to use just "once in a while:"

Pigpen, I imagine it's becos that's where they want their first home together to be. It's a stunning place where they'll be left alone. 

Notting Hill could be seen as an investment or as a family base e g sister etc, and if they were ever on their last knockings she could rent it out easily for a substantial amount, her uncle (her mother's brother) has a place in Mayfair, and her mother lives in Gerrards Cross.

Property is the best investment of all in the UK. And when all is said and done when you have a stated £120,000,000 or so..............

I think that's a question only us not-rich people ask. George already has three homes (not including UK) that he only spends a little bit of time in. Why not one more?
