He probably went to John's wedding and now is getting ready for Darfur that is what he usually does. Maybe we will see a pic or two of him out and about in LA before he goes.

John's wedding was supposed to be the end of June. Maybe the wedding already took place in Connecticut. No photos though so far. I'm pretty sure we'll get some pics in Darfur soon with him smiling. I think he likes to be followed around there because he's trying to shed light on their plight.

I doubt there will be any photos from the wedding. Don't think George is like that, calling attention at a friends wedding. However, a guest may leak one. Maybe John requested that guest respect John's and new Bride's privacy and not do that.

George is in Italy since the early days of June, I'm sure because when he's at Villa Oleandrfa all the house windows are open, including that of his camera.Inoltre Laglio is issued when it is exposed and an order of the mayor that no one can stop at the gate of the villa (in respect to privacy), when part of the order is removed, and many people stop and look inside the gate.

I hope that he is on his way to the Sudan after the bad storm they just had in Como. The article said that the Clooney Villa was not damaged. But, as maria4 said above, a road is closed due to the bad storm.

The road stopped just after the landslide

COMO / There were no casualties, a miracle. Could have been much worse. It 'was a day of fear on the lake of Como in the municipalities of Brienno, Colonno and Laglio. 100 people were evacuated with the use of boats by the fire.
Several houses were damaged. At least 4 landslides that have hit the area. And all because of storms that have hit this morning. Involved several teams of firefighters, some of whom arrived from Milan.
Queen The highway is impassable. The work to reopen it will be on all night. The villa of George Clooney was not damaged.

@cinderella this is not the first time George is going to or has sold his villa. Who knows maybe some day, but with all the investment he has put into it over the years I would be surprised if it was now.

Now isn't a great time to sell such an expensive property and George isn't stupid. We get rumours it seems every few months and then we get the he is looking to buy elsewhere ones as well. Nothing new probably because of the breakup with Eli. I doubt George would be scared away by her.

Well ladies-fellow posters-fans, does anyone think we will get to see him again before VFF? We've got 3 weeks and___ days to wait. If you could choose where you'd like to see him papped where would it be? My choice riding with the boys on bikes around Como, but with the roads washed out that might take to long. Second choice, out on the town having a good time with the boys. Can anyone tell i'am bored?

No trace of George in Juba, party scheduled for July 5 at Villa Oleandra unorganized, no moving around, only the output for the July 4th fireworks hidden in the boat. All the friends who had come, as every year, not been forthcoming, Villa Oleandra seems a monastery buddista.Ma what's happening? You should be accustomed to tears! George let me see! Even if the road was closed by the Queen in Brienno Laglio know that there are alternative routes!

I think george wants to remain very low-key after 2 summers with ely. Remember the 1st summer, we saw pics from a part of the villa we never saw before (with the pool) then inside his garden (when they played criquet)... etc. Then the 2nd summer, it was a bit quiet, we only saw when they took the boat... (correct me if I'm wrong).
This year he certainly wants to be at peace. Even if we want to see pics of him riding bike, on boat with the boys or other friends & family because as fans we want to know if he is ok & how good looking he is, he deserves a break.

Yes Melbert, when I looked at my calendar last night and counted the weeks left in July there was 3 full weeks till Aug. I couldn't remember the day in Aug. that VFF began so I left a blank line. Maybe I counted wrong or looked at the wrong month, now that it's daylight I'll go double check myself, I seem to be having a lot of senior moments after midnite!!!

He's most likely editing. There is a good chance he is doing it more carefully and slower.. one day of editing three days of reading new political thriller novel two days of editing one day in hot tub two days of cooking up new movie and back to editing.

He's most likely choosing his mancave for the time being ... he's having a relationship with his mancave lol!

True! But I was thinking he may have started it in Los Angeles before he left for Italy. Doesn't the studio have to work on it too after his director's cut?

Okay, it looks like that was just a Sony press release. One website had the same info, while this one says that Brad had to stay home with the twins -
