In winter they got a lot of snow. I lived in PA until last week and that is not as far north and we got a lot of snow.

Again, lots of info but can't find filming start date. I'm sure it's buried somewhere in here. Anyone know when Georgie Porgie's gonna be in Canada? Might just take a road trip for this one! HA!

If I remember correctly it was written that the filming starts in August but George is only expected to be there in November. But not 100 % sure though.

Ok never mind, I'm not going to Canada in November. Too freakin cold!! Will just have to make do with any pics that might come up!

Ah LornaDoone you need to go if George is that close to you or nearly close.


Get snow boots, gloves, hat, scarf.....look like an Eskimo and you are safe. Make sure you have sexy cloth underneath. In case you see George you undress quickly to look "normal" again  


And when you go back home you drink tea and eat cookies.

Isn't she on the right coast of Canada and George will be on the left coast.

Robertson joins Clooney's movie

George Clooney will be joined by Britt Robertson in his new movie Tomorrowland.

The Hollywood heartthrob will star in the Disney adventure and it has now emerged that Under The Dome star Britt has landed a key role.

She will play a high school girl "with an unconventional understanding of technology who is launched on a journey to reclaim her future", according to The Hollywood Reporter's Heat Vision blog.

It was previously reported that Britt and Naomi Scott were the two finalists for the role of Casey, a rebellious girl who approaches a cranky inventor (George) to help her explore a parallel world called Tomorrowland.

Hugh Laurie and Raffey Cassidy will also star in the sci-fi film, which is being directed by Ratatouille and Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol filmmaker Brad Bird.

Britt is good in Under the Dome, or more that I feel for her character - this movie is intriguing

I haven't watched Under the Dome but I have seen her in other things and have liked her. Should be interesting....

New Details about Disney's 'Tomorrowland' Movie

Tomorrowland may not be hitting theaters till December 2014, but we've got some new details to share about the film! The Disney movie will be a sci-fi flick with huge stars like George Clooney, and Hugh Laurie.

Just confirmed to star in the film are Britt Robertson (Under The Dome) and Raffey Cassidy (Snow White and the Huntsman).

The film is about a teenage girl named Casey (Robertson) who finds a mysterious box in the Walt Disney Archives with only a date on it. With the help of a girl-robot (Cassidy) and a man named Frank (Clooney) who was kicked out of Tomorrowland, they work together to unravel what happened to Tomorrowland, which exists in an alternate dimension, and save earth!

We know this is going to be a hit, and we'll bring you more details soon!

Judy Greer Eyed For Disney’s ‘Tomorrowland’

EXCLUSIVE: I’ve learned an already busy Judy Greer is in talks to reunite with George Clooney in Tomorrowland. With Hugh Laurie and Britt Robinson also starring in the film, Brad Bird is directing from a screenplay by Damon Lindelof. Like the sci-fi Disney pic itself, Greer’s potential role is a tightly guarded secret. What we do know is that this would be Greer’s third film with Clooney after 2011′s The Descendants and 1999′s Three Kings. While Tomorrowland negotiations are going on, Greer has a pretty full dance card of releases and roles as it is. The actress appears in Arrested Development and will be in the Carrie reboot coming out this fall. She is currently working on Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes, and is starring in Andrew Gurland’s untitled FX comedy pilot opposite Nat Faxon. Kathryn Hahn Joins George Clooney in 'Tomorrowland' (Exclusive)

George Clooney, Hugh Laurie and Britt Robertson are starring in the picture, which is currently shooting in Vancouver.

The story, as described by Disney, centers on a “bright, optimistic teen bursting with scientific curiosity and a former boy-genius inventor jaded by disillusionment who embark on a danger-filled mission to unearth the secrets of an enigmatic place somewhere in time and space that exists in their collective memory as Tomorrowland."

Character descriptions are being kept secret, but it can be revealed that Hahn is playing a character named Ursula in what is described as a funny, scene-stealing role.

Hahn is an expert at the latter, with her talents on view in the recent New Line comedy We’re the Millers. She’ll next be seen in The Secret Life of Walter Mitty and recently wrapped Shawn Levy’s This Is Where I Leave You.

Hahn is repped by Gersh, Brillstein Entertainment Partners and Schreck Rose.

Norman Reedus turned down 'Tomorrowland' role as George Clooney's dad


Norman Reedus has explained why he turned down a role in Tomorrowland.

Directed by Brad Bird, Tomorrowland is a sci-fi adventure movie starring George Clooney as an inventor and Hugh Laurie as the villan. Britt Robertson, Judy Greer and Kathryn Hahn also feature in the movie.

Reedus revealed to Vulture that he would have played George Clooney's father if he had accepted the role but turned it down because of a hair issue.

He explained: "With Tomorrowland, there was an issue about cutting my hair. It's a period film, and I would have played the father of George Clooney, but the haircut, the pictures they sent me, it looked like some sort of a hair croissant on the top of your head. And I was like, How am I going to pull that off? I have really long wild guy hair right now, and it just wouldn't work."

Reedus went on to explain what jobs he is looking for outside AMC zombie drama The Walking Dead.

"This show is my bread and butter, and it's my heart," he said. "And I don't want to just do a giant blockbuster that's going to disappear. I want a film that means something, and then I'll go back to my highly watched, super-popular television show.

"I'm not opposed to big-budget films, and there are certain directors that I absolutely love that do them - Guillermo [del Toro], David Fincher. But it's a fine line. Maybe I'll just do Portlandia! I could just walk around going, 'Cacao! Cacao!'"

Tomorrowland is scheduled for a 2015 release.

Season four of The Walking Dead airs on AMC in the US and on Fox in the UK.

I would shave every hair on my body, wear 15 wigs, cut all my fingernails off for a chance to work with George. I guess he doesn't have much faith in Tomorrowland, or he's TOO GOOD to do this?
