London, Dec 5 (IANS) After ending a year-long relationship with Sarah Larson, a waitress, actor George Clooney is eyeing another bartender.Thesun.co.uk reports that Clooney shunned the VIP section of Whisky Mist last night in favour of chatting at length to a pretty and petite brunette working behind the bar. Clooney then got together with his friend actor Matt Damon.

After reuniting with his “Ocean’s Eleven” co-star Matt Damon for dinner in the evening, sources say the actor went specifically to see the bartender after meeting her on a previous visit to London.

“Clooney arrived at the bar at midnight and went straight to talk and drink with a brunette behind the bar. He looked very happy and was polite to the long line of female admirers who came up to talk to him,” an insider said.

A dinner date with George Clooney is always top of our festive wish list – and this year, not only did Santa deliver but Christmas came early.

We almost choked on our sushi when the Hollywood hunk walked through the door of our favourite London restaurant, Nobu, and plonked himself down at the next table.

No prizes for guessing what we fancied for dessert, even though he is sporting a comedy moustache – a legacy of his latest movie role in Staring At Goats!

Even better, Gorgeous George was with his hunky Oceans 13 co-star Matt Damon. They had planned a slap-up dinner for eight pals, including Matt’s wife Luciana.

Glancing over at our mouth-watering black miso cod, sashimi and soft shell crab, George said: “Hmm, that looks good, girls. Let’s order everything.”

He wasn’t just talking about the food. A round of vodka, champagne and beer later and his party were rocking the restaurant with infectious laughter.

Poor George had a touch of the sniffles and kept nipping off to the toilet to blow his nose – you can come round to our place for a Lemsip anytime, love.

Not that he was letting man flu get in the way of a wild night out. Arms folded, George tried to persuade Matt and Luciana to carry on the evening. But after poking fun atGeorge’s facial ferret, they bailed at 12.30am leaving him all to us. Well, it would be rude to let him party alone...

George sank his vodka, slipped on a flat cap and discussed where to go on to next.

He mused: “Firehouse or Whisky Mist? I like the sound of Whisky, see you there?”

We didn’t need asking twice. We jumped straight in a cab and followed him to the club, where George shunned the VIP area and made a beeline for the bar.

As he and his buddies sipped whisky cocktails made from Glenmorangie malt, surrounded by fawning females, George looked over and gave us a little wink with those smouldering come-to-bed eyes. Sigh!
After introducing us to his friends, he thrust two glasses of Grey Goose vodka into our palms and we were off.

“Team Clooney”, as we are now known, partied with the A-list actor from Dusk Till Dawn, helping him rack up a rather impressive £1,000 bar bill.

And we have to say, George was the perfect gentleman (damn and blast).

Clearly unable to choose between us, he swapped numbers with a petite brunette cocktail waitress instead. As we waved him off she shoved us out of the way and set off in another cab in hot pursuit.
Hmm, we should be more specific on our next Christmas list. Bah humbug...
