Hope you enjoy the laugh at my expense ladies, I copied the above paragraph from an essay I had written in Year 9 over 20 years ago - I got a B- (was expecting a C at best), my older sister who helped me write some of it was hoping for an A+ - I think she plagiarised every Mills and Boon book in her bedroom.

True True - but sadly at the time I wrote this did not now who George was!!

Fifty Shades of Grey isn't my thing, and the fact that it was originally a Twilight fanfiction doesn't help (don't like Twilight either, but heck, I bet there's even better Twilight fanfiction, or just better plain Twilight smut). I like my romance and smut too, but I don't find anything about the books romantic or sexy. I do however, like reading Katrina Lumsden's reviews of them on Goodreads.

Aside from the character's physical description/age, I couldn't even imagine George playing him in a movie any which way. If people thought Batman and Robin was embarrassing...yeah. Fifty Shades would be the embarrassment of anybody's career. Don't care how much money it makes.

Gotta read her reviews because I read about 40 pages and wondered if there was something wrong with me because I didn't find it even the least sexually stimulating, let alone interesting. It's like a really really bad Harlequin!
