Yes bic...I like to hear Spanish or Italian singing, especially Opera.
The English translations often spoil them...Lol

Me too, but it has happened to me, that I was very grateful to have english translation, otherwise I would have sat 3 hours in Budabest´s opera (Hungarians pronouncing italian or latin for all I know...) not knowing what was going on at the stage.

Oh yes...in the past I always used to read the libretto before I went
To an opera, before I got to know them well enough
not to have to do that.
DVD's are useful as they usually have the sub titles to follow.

I should do the same, read the librettos! But so far I have read them at home, after.... oh, that´s what it was all about...

I remember my favourites by heart carmen, aida ...
and ballets the nutcracker, the swan lake... I never get tired of seeing them again.
