Anyone think that maybe George is tired of Brand Clooney and having to pretend to be something that he isn't in his personal relationships? The money from the films isn't the same as it was 10 years ago. Why live that way if the financial benefits are no longer there? We all know he is a dog - yet it continues to be the woman's fault and that he can do better than them. Actually, he can't and he doesn't want to.

Maybe Stacy can do whatever she wants because he no longer cares about fulfilling the image that has been built around him as he knows that his acting options for the lead roles is only going to reduce as the years go by and he will step more into directing. Let's be honest - he is looking older and more rougher around the edges in the past couple of years.

As much as his tastes as skank, I think it can only be a good thing for him if he doesn't have to pretend in his everyday life to be the type of man that he is not.

Dakota you should always post what you think is right in your opinion. I don't agree with you that people on this forum don't like your comments even if we disagree with it, and it doesn't mean that your posts are not valuable. His fans didn't change their opinion of him because they thought that it will be fun. Personally, I think that he worked very hard to be in a position in Hollywood that he is now. You don't get to this level of acting or producing overnight. It was a long and taught road. His talent as an actor, director contributed to his achievements a lot but also his integrity, honesty and, sorry to say, keeping his private life private to the point that he could control this and his reputation was almost unquestionable. IMO in last few years things started to change but never to the point like it is today. And yes, I think it has a lot to do with his gf. specifically now with Stacy. And it is very hard to watch what is going on lately. Like I said it is not easy to get to the top but very easy to fall down. And if we wouldn't be his true fans we would not worry about him. And I don't agree with you that COH is one of the worst blogs because we criticize him. I think that compared with other, this forum is really nice and people are smart and polite. But he is the one who gave us all the reasons to make comments like we do.

I agree with others he is getting more and more pathetic.
And even when number of posters are claiming majority of comments are not in his favour. Most of them are negative. IMO his credibility is going down. Less and less people are talking about his movies, it’s all about his fake relationships and his insincerity.

And he is the one who is responsible for that.

And, what about his recent red carpet quote saying SK also believes in keeping their private life private? I think it was the LA premiere. If he's okaying her tweets he's the fool or she's making him look the fool doing it on his own. So, IMHO, its a lose-lose situation for him.

I respectfully disagree with you dakota. Firstly in the beginning you will find many of us me included saw George with rose coloured glasses. He was and is the perfect man. Handsome, charming, funny and smart. But as time goes on and you pay attention to his dating and the types of girls he dates some of the blush comes of the rose. If this was one of those fansites that just gushed at how wonderful he was and how perfect I will admit it I wouldn't be here. We can see his faults and we discuss them like adults do. We talk about his girlfriends because George has chosen to make that part of his public life. Even though he says he wants it to be private his actions speak louder then his words. George isn't perfect he has made some bad moves, Nestle is one and the girls he likes to date and squire around is another. We are allowed to talk about them because they are public. Stacy is tweeting and talking to the press that means we are going to talk about her. Clearly she is a famewhore there is no other word for her very few see a couple happily in love and protecting their relationship. I'm afraid if you want a George Clooney forum that just sees him as some perfect man and never says anything bad against George you may have create it yourself. Because there aren't any that I know off that don't call him out about the stunts he has been pulling in the name of PR and the bad choice in ladyfriends. If it is concerning you then don't read the threads about the women. Post in the movie threads and all the others that are here. If Stacy didn't tweet or do the stuff she is doing we wouldn't talk about it! If you still want to post in the girlfriend threads then of course your welcome too. But just remember we all have a right to say how we feel and what we see. He's either been faking relationships for publicity for five years or we're just not good at reading him.

If this is PR then it is really bad PR and he should work on good PR.

I believe that the only thing that George has "changed" is that everything is more public. Most of us who have followed him forever, know the "type" that he goes with. However, the last one and the current one (and maybe a little bit Sarah) are SO much more public. He says "private life private", but then we see all these photo ops. We boohoo when we don't get pics and info about George, but then we bash him and his relationships when we do. George has that effect on us! I personally wish that I didn't have to see their asses on full display everywhere, but I have the choice of looking or not. I want more pics of George doing what we think he loves - bike riding, boating, hanging with friends. But, whatever his thing is with these girls, they are a part of his life and we get the good and the bad. We don't have to like, or even accept his choice in who he is with, but it is his choice.

Oh, Melbert, you hit the nail on the head. Bullseye! You forgot though, that with the good and the bad, we also get the ugly butts.
Really wish posters wouldn't add them to forum, not nice to look at, IMVHO. Now if you could give me extensive pics of George's butt, I'd be in heaven and if he'd give us just one fassbender frontal pose i.e. "Shame", definitely over the top. JUST ONE. I think that if you are for a long time in those fake relationships, and you know that you are not honest with people around you, it could be very stressful. How long can a person do that??. As long as he really tried to keep his private life private and had some kind of control over his partners it wasn't that bad. But everything changed when he started to contradict himself publicly, and let his not so smart gf. do the talking, people started to see him in a very different light. Which isn't very positive for him. IMO

To be honest Zizi, that's why I don't think any of these are fake relationships. It's not good PR for him and he has a very good PR team.

He's an a-list star and he can't keep his private life entirely private. I think he does what he can and leaves the rest.

We are talking about the change in his handling of the PR surrounding his recent relationships. But PR has changed in the last several years. With all the social media sites out there and camera phones, sometimes it can get out of control. I'm not saying that some of his recent ladyfriends don't use this to their advantage, but it it so much easier and so many more outlets. There was press on previous GFs, IMO it was easier to control.

Just my opinion here, but I don't think he was in love with any of them. He liked them, maybe; was fond of them perhaps, but in love? Didn't see any evidence for it.

There seems to be some strange belief amongst his fans that George must either be deeply in love with a girlfriend or there's no relationship at all between them. I don't see that people only have two options in real life and I think relationships are complicated and come in many forms.

I think George likes these women and they have fun together. When it stops being fun, he moves on. Not every relationship can be true and eternal love and we all of us date many people in our lives. Most of us find someone we want to spend the rest of our lives with and stop there, but George doesn't seem to be interested in that outcome and goes through his life as a serial monogamist.

If it makes him happy, why not?

There are many actresses in Hollywood who have done nude photos and then have spent a lot of money to buy them, if I remember correctly there is between these Angilolina Jolie eand Cindy Crawford[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

George's first love is his career he has always said that. He has said that he doesn't have the time to put into a family that he should. Wife and kids aren't his interest. I believe that is why he dates these type of women he has no respect for them and he can discard them because they are trashy and he wouldn't fall in love with any of them. Stacy is no different she wants George for the same reason that the rest do fame and money. This is obvious by the number of photos and videos that she has allowed to be taken of her.
