George Clooney was married to Talia Balsam for four years. After their failed marriage, the 59-year-old actor seemed to promise he would never walk down the aisle again until he met Amal Clooney.

Shutting down his own claims

George and Talia tied the knot in 1989. After their divorce, the film director said he wasn’t “very good at it.”
“I was quoted as saying I’ll never get married again pretty much right after I got divorced,” he told Esquire U.K. in 2014, via E! News. “Then, I’ve never talked about it since.”
In another interview in the same year, he said he would keep saying he would never get married or have kids, but people didn’t believe him.

Why? Everything he said about marriage changed six months after dating Amal.
The two tied the knot in 2014. Six years after, they now have three-year-old twins, Ella and Alexander.
Now, George couldn’t believe he saw it any other way.

Falling madly deeply in love

George felt like it was a lifetime ago when he used to be alone in his house in Studio City, California. At the time, he was only with a cocker spaniel, Einstein.
“Now my house is filled with the warm sounds of babies crying,” he told The Hollywood Reporter in 2017. “You should see when my friends show up and see me change a diaper, the laughter that comes from them.”
He continued building a new life with Aman. He said his wife had changed him in every way, like a person who had “fallen madly in love” would.
“Suddenly, the other person’s life becomes more important than your own,” the E.R. star added. “I’m sorry I was 50-something when it happened, but only because I could have spent even more time with her.”

George Clooney back to the screen

Meanwhile, George is back to the screen with his new Netflix movie, The Midnight Sky. 
It has been almost four years since the Ocean’s Eleven star was seen in the movie. Now, he almost looks unrecognizable with his mighty beard and short crew cut, Today noted.
George Clooney will play the role of a scientist at a remote arctic research center. He may be the last man alive after an apocalypse occurred, but he, too, is badly sick.
