THE Duchess of Sussex wants a female doctor to deliver the royal baby, The Sun on Sunday can reveal.
And Meghan has been influenced in her “birthing lifestyle” by close pal Amal Clooney, who gave birth to twins in London two years ago.

Royal insiders now believe Meghan and Prince Harry’s baby, thought to be due this month, will be born in the Kensington wing of the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital — where George Clooney’s wife had their children.
Meghan and Harry have visited a separate wellness centre in west London for “gong-bathing” sessions — where participants listen to sounds and vibrations aimed at reducing tension.

Meghan, 37, will have a host of top obstetricians to choose from if she goes to the private Kensington wing where birth “packages” can cost £15,000.
Royal obstetrician Guy Thorpe-Beeston — who has helped deliver Kate and Prince William’s children — works at the unit.
But feminist Meghan wants to go with one of the wing’s female consultants — who include Charlotte Deans, Mina Savvidou and Natasha Singh — to help with the birth of the seventh in line to the throne.
She is said to have chosen the wing — dubbed Britain’s poshest maternity ward — after consulting her mother, Doria ­Ragland, 62, and 41-year-old Amal.

LEADING FEMALE DOC TO DELIVER BABY

Reports had suggested that ­former Suits actress Meghan was planning a home birth — but royal insiders last night said the Kensington Wing was now the “preferred option”.
One well-placed source said: “Meghan has chosen the ward for two reasons. Firstly, they have a lot of top female obstetricians and midwives and she really wants a woman to deliver her baby.
“The other is because they support alternative birthing methods and give the parents a lot of choice before, during and after the birth.
“It is also, of course, very private, and seen as one of the safest places Meghan can give birth.”

Buckingham Palace said this week that Meghan and Harry will not immediately share news of the birth of their son or daughter as they want to celebrate the arrival privately first.
Royal bodyguards will be present when Meghan goes into labour — and security experts are believed to have “scoped” the maternity unit and given it their seal of approval.
The maternity suite’s website says: “The Kensington Wing is designed to be a comprehensive maternity unit with private consultation rooms for your antenatal appointments, a medical day assessment unit, three labour rooms, a water-birthing suite, nursery, post-natal en-suite bedrooms and a luxury postnatal suite.
“Our delivery rooms are furnished with all the equipment necessary to monitor you and your baby during labour and birth.
“We encourage choices in birth position and can provide birth-balls, beanbags, floor mats, birthing stools and birthing pools. We offer all the services you would expect in a luxury hotel.”
The Kensington wing — which is also where Cheryl Tweedy gave birth to her son with Liam Payne in 2017 — offers smoked salmon for breakfast, £75 bottles of champagne and private rooms with en suite bathrooms, TVs, fridges and wifi.
It also boasts 1,500 works of art, 24-hour room service, and complimentary toiletries.
Obstetricians are available 24 hours a day and the suite offers one-to-one midwife care in labour. A consultant neonatologist carries out baby checks and there is full post-natal physiotherapy advice.

They don't know where the baby will be born. They aren't announcing where she will give birth.

Oh, Lord. Bonkers stuff from The Sun - and a complete lack of research.

Amal's twins were born at the Lindo Wing of St Mary's, Paddington - the place we all see when some of the Royals pose on the doorstep looking absolutely great having just given birth....

I'd take bets on it happening again - if only because it's wise with the first birth and there may be a caesaerean or something involved...........

I thought the birth was the reason SussexRoyal ig was set up... to control all media.... they appear to be going their own way...

WWHS - yes, but it would seem that Meghan is writing all the posts and folks are a bit confused because it was said that they wanted zero reporting. It looks to some as if they have said one thing but then do another

On their instagram it is basically about their charity and events they have attended. I don't see anything about the baby other than the thank you.

Yep that's right, but what people are commenting on is that Harry said that social media was becoming dangerous and addictive - and they wanted privacy - and then they opened up an Instagram account!

Maybe he should look to George for advice on this one....

as far as I understood, members of the Royal family have official instagram accounts where official pics and news about chariries they support are published. And I guess they don't run the sites themselves but have a PR team for doing it so in my understanding it's more a sort of 'business sites', I wouldn't expect to see real private pics there, but of course I might be wrong...

That was my understanding, too. Why do people think Meghan is the one posting?

From what I have read they believe Meghan is doing the writing because  it is written with American English not British.
