Sunday tinkering on this site
Hi everyone
Just wanted to let you know that I'll be tinkering with this site on Sunday (my time, which is probably Saturday evening/early Sunday morning for most of you in Europe and the US).
The forum will stay open as usual and you can keep on posting, but if you have any problems accessing the site, or find it keeps changing colours or buttons are moving around, then don't be alarmed. It's just me trying out new widgets and stuff.

I like the "purple" too, but hard to read the writing in the black section.

Ditto what it's said above. But I have a little remark, is it possible to reduce the purple band where there is the search box?

Re: Sunday tinkering on this site
It's that purple band where there's the search box that's giving me the most heartache. It's not at all the way it's supposed to be.
Seeing as I'm temporarily stuck with that header, I can add another search box on the side if that makes things any better.
One minute!

Like the new photo, too. LOL, he looks like he's crying. Looks to have a tear just starting to come down the side of his nose.
BTW, didn't know that clicking on the photo brings one back to the home page.

Hi Katie, Just logged on, each time I do somethign new has changed!! Sorry but the type face is really hard on my eyes in the "headline" column of the left. Against the white background, it's quite hard to read when your sneeking a peak from your work desk!!! Like the colour though! Keep up the good work.

Hi Katie, love everything, when I'm online it's in my home office which I keep dark this time of year, so for me the reading is easier, but my eyesight is old and I don't have to sneak. Thanks for all!

Can I give a suggestion?
Is it possible to make our comments only visible to the members here?
I had the unfortunate idea to check out justjared and it seems they keep reading here and commenting on what we say or posting some of the stuff we post here. If this forum is so bad, why they keep checking it? Thanks!

Ah the private forum idea. Kimber does that. But hers is now for public to see.
Also I can guarantee it is the same nuts from IMDB that is bad mouthing about it. They everywhere.

Kimber is the owner of ClooneyUnlimited Forum.Clooney wrote:Ah the private forum idea. Kimber does that. But hers is now for public to see.

Just to clarify - Kimber did decide to open her Forum to the public, but the part called BCD (Behind Closed Doors) which talks about George's girlfriends, is only readable to registered members. FYI, BCD and Clooney's Campaign is a seperate registration. One needs to register to post comments in the Forum, but an additional registration is needed to read/post in BCD and another registration for Clooney's Campaign (now and when the whole Forum was private). For those who do not know: Kimber started BCD and Clooney's Campaign (about George's "political" career) because there are some members who didn't want to read and/or skip over negative/snarky comemnts. The same articles/photos are also available in the main Forum when George is with a girlfriend (however, not when the girlfriend is out doing something alone), but the snarky comments can only be made in BCD. Sorry this post is so long, but wanted to try and best explain. Thanks!

Ah, the tricky, tricky 'thank you' button. Or 'merci' button as it's suddenly become this week! This comes and goes at will, so if you see a 'merci' button on a post you like, click quickly!
I added the 'thanks' option to all posts back in January but only sometimes is it there. I've no idea why it's now in French.
Very willful this forum, very willful.

Thanks for the suggestion. The reason I started this forum was because at the time there was no public site where fans could browse and find information about what George is doing. I think that George, as one of the most intruguing film stars today, deserves a site that's easily accessible and open to all so for that reason I'm not going to make this site private.
As for why the nutcase keeps coming back here, I can tell you that the proxy server that she uses to visit this site sometimes features in the list of the top 10 visitors to the site! That's how often she comes to check it out. It's quite sad, really.
It's a lot like those anti-pornography people who have to visit and watch every porn site they find over and over again in order to, ahem, "evaluate" it. You can imagine her feverishly hitting the refresh button to get another fix.
My advice is simply to ignore her. She thrives on attention and will write increasingly provokative posts in order to get a response. She's entitled to her opinions, as crazy as they are, and IMO isn't worth any effort or thought from us.

Re: Sunday tinkering on this site
So true Katie, and bravo for all the work you do on this site!
Yes, I've been on imdb recently and saw them talking (although, now that I see that in print, not sure how I "Saw them talking"...hmmm) and they were commenting on our comments - I think it was about her wearing the "watch" in Cannes. So desparate. Can't find anything amongst their own "personalities" to chat about, so they come here, lurk, and then ridicule. Morons.
I also have to commend you....on one of their threads they were trying to bait you into defending yourself....and you didn't play!!! I'm sure they were grabbing for their meds on that one!!!! Oh, wait.....that's the problem.....they're not taking their meds....my bad.

@ Great advice Katie.
@bellybaby,they have nothing to discuss unless they are trying to disprove someone else's thread or comments. Sometimes I'am surprised at how many days go by with no new topics or comments. Not sure how long you have been visiting IMDb, but it wasn't always like that which is sad but not sure at this point can be fixed, although many have tried.

I won't blame her/them for coming here many times! I check many times to see if there are new pics or interesting comments between my experiments, mainly in a day like this where the technique is learnt is just awful... argh!
Thanks for the fun!
