Dine on a Dime Ultra Star Cinemas
This issue, we went beyond the traditional dining out experience, and decided to combine entertainment with eating out.
Ultra Star Cinemas, located at Scottsdale Pavilions, boasts a perfect dinner and a movie date location.
Not only do the theaters offer an exciting schedule of the latest and hottest movies, they also offer a full menu ranging from nachos, pizza, salad, paninis and desserts.
The cinema includes state-ofthe- art auditoriums with features like stadium seating, leather chairs, and private rooms (which include your own server) Ultra Star also houses D-Box seating, which allows patrons to fully experience their favorite movies with motion and surround sounds directly built into their seats.
Keeping your budget in mind, all of these seats are still fairly priced, staying around the same as a traditional neighborhood movie theater.
Turning our attention back to our favorite part of this experience, the café inside the theater filled our stomachs with delight.
We started with the Deluxe Nacho ($8.75) which was loaded with jalapeños, cheese, beans, sour cream, and tomatoes.
The George Clooney ($7.75), a panini topped with turkey, pesto, provolone, and tomato was served on sourdough bread, was the tastiest, but our overall favorite, the Marilyn Monroe ($7.75) consisted of brie and chocolate, with olive oil and basil on sourdough. The combination of flavors melted together in a way that made your mouth water with every bite.
The next time you are in the mood for dinner and a movie, make sure to keep in mind your one-stop night on the town at Ultra Star Cinemas.
