I wonder if this is true...doesn't sound like something George would do....IMO...

Sadly, you'll never get to smell like George Clooney. Reps for the star had been in negotiations with Coty Inc. about developing his own fragrance, but the talks turned to mist after his camp demanded a multiyear deal worth more than $30 million, sources tell Page Six. One said, "George seemed to be not that keen, unless the deal really made it worth his while. But Coty pulled out, saying this figure made the deal impossible." Coty has developed fragrances for celebrities, including Sarah Jessica Parker, Kate Moss, Kylie Minogue, Tim McGraw, Halle Berry, Jennifer Lopez, David and Victoria Beckham, Celine Dion and Faith Hill. A rep for Clooney said his commercial agent couldn't be reached, and Coty declined to comment. Clooney, 49, is currently filming "Ides of March" in Miami.

I kind of don't blame him. It seems like a fragrance is kinda the last commercial sell out. There was a conversation regarding celebrity fragrances on the radio the other day, and they were saying that most of them don't really smell good, and why do people buy them, etc. He doesn't do any commercial endorsements in the States yet, if and when he does, it'll probably be something a little high end (my guess), before he goes into selling a fragrance with his name on it that will then be sold in Kmart,
CVS, etc.
It's also funny that we keep seeing it being reported that he's filming in Miami...usually when you say just "Miami", it refers to Florida. Alot of people don't realize that there's another one in Ohio...

Yeah, I'm with you Merlin. This seems like a really cheap thing for George to do, although since he's done Fastweb, maybe he really is scraping the bottom of the barrel?

I've a feeling a denial is on its way. God, I hope a denial is on its way.

How much money is enough! I understand some of these stars have expensive lifestyles security,maybe a lot of family etc. to support,but after awhile it just gets greedy and pathetic.I hope he doesn't go there just cause he can.
