George collects paintings?

Angelina Jolie, George Clooney, Tina Turner and two U.S. presidents – Bill Clinton and George Bush own her paitings as part of their collections. Now she has opened her first solo gallery in Kyiv. On February 24, Ukrainian artist Khrystyna Katrakis-Kushch will present her paintings, which are devoted to Ukraine, and a sculpture of her father – Anatoliy Kushch. He is the architect of the 42-meter high monument dedicated to Ukraine's independence located on the Maydan Nezalezhnosti (Independence Square).

However, Khrystyna’s gallery will not be open to the public at all times: "If someone wants to come and see my works, they should send me an email and then I will show them my paintings. Why did I decide this? Because someone just sitting in the gallery, will have not have as much interest in the work, as I will”, - explained Katrakis-Kushch.

In addition to Khrystyna’s paintings, works by Kazimir Malevich, Pablo Picasso, David Burliuk and others painters will be shown in the gallery.
