Re: Armageddon?
This Mayan Armaggedon situation is just the Harmonic Convergence of 1987. The Harmonic Convergence meant that the planets were in a certain alignment, which signaled the new era of peace and harmony. Well, go figure!!

Re: Armageddon?
Well what a damp suib that was! Although, for some of us trying to get from Gatwick to the west country late at night with flight delays, rail delays, flood warnings and a fire at Paddington, it did almost seem like armageddon had happened. Then I realised this is just normal for public transport in the UK.
Whenever I fondly fantasise about coming home, something like this happens and I remember why I left this bloody country in the first place!
