George Clooney checks in as Arnold Schwarzenegger

Tom Cruise has been checking into hotels using the amusing alias of Cage Hunt.

The Hollywood star, 50, is staying at the plush Grove Hotel in the UK while shooting his new film All You Need Is Kill, and according to The Sun, he’s swapped his well known name for a raunchy alter-ego.

“Guests are saying he has told them it’s his porn name,” a source told the publication. “He has been a great laugh and is really friendly to everyone. He has a great sense of humor.”

Cruise isn’t the only A-lister to use a fake name to keep a low profile when checking into hotels or making restaurant reservations.

Johnny Depp, 49, has been known to go by Mr. Stench or Mr. Drip Noodle; Kim Kardashian, 31, favors Princess Jasmine; and prankster George Clooney, 51, has checked in under Arnold Schwarzenegger in the past.

And who knew Kate Beckinsale also has a cheeky sense of humor? Her alias is Sigourney Beaver.

Celebrities' attempts to go undercover are pitiful, if a recent report by Us Weekly is to be believed. The magazine reveals the secret aliases that A-listers such as Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, George Clooney, Justin Timberlake and Johnny Depp use when checking into hotels. As to be expected, the names are just as colorful as their personalities: Brad and Angelina use "Bryce and Jasmine Pilaf," while Justin Timberlake favors "Mr. Woodpond" and Johnny Depp sometimes drops a "Mr. Drip Noodle" bomb onto an unsuspecting hotel receptionist.

But as conpicuous as "Pilaf" and "Woodpond" are, the winner for the most ridiculous name goes to, unsurprisingly, notorious prankster George Clooney. He reportedly uses the actual name of another famous face -- Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Of course, as the published report makes this information public, we can expect new monikers to surface. What new nicknames should these celebrities use to protect their privacy?
