According to what surely has to rank as the most exciting website, George abandoned Omega for equally expensive wristwear, Jaeger LeCoultre in Michael Clayton:
I can't think why he would given how much Omega must pay him to promote their watches, but really I just posted this because of the great photo of George.

I know that is one of my favorite photos. As for not wearing Omega --do actors control what they wear as part of a role?

Maybe Omega only paid for the commercials and Jaeger LeCoultre paid to be in the film??? Anyway, that's what I'm thinking... Movies cost money to make and using product is helpful???

I think actors of a certain stature (such as George) get a say in what they wear and usually when you're paid to promote a product there's a clause in the contract saying you can't promote competitor products.
Seeing as which watch he was wearing had absolutely no importance in the film, I find it odd that he'd wear another brand.
