Sadly have to agree with Annemarie. It doesn't matter whether she or any celebrity tweets or facebooks about the shootings. It won't bring back any of those beautiful children or the adults who were protecting them. I actually think rather than tweeting about it, it would be more honorable for celebs to just stop tweeting anything for a bit. That to me would signal they are feeling what much of this country and world is feeling about this horrible act.

If that's the case, why ever attend a funeral or send condolences to anyone? It never brings the person back. And in fact, a number of the family members in Newtown who have spoken out have mentioned how much the support they've felt from everyone around the country has meant to them.

I think MIssa you're going to continue getting disappointed if you expect Ms. Keibler to be more than she is.

She is a nice (supposedly) and vacuous woman who has made quite a good living off her body. I think of her as a living Barbie Doll. From her voice to the clothes she wears, I swear my old Barbie has come to life!

I don't think George is with her for her conversation skills or for her compassion. She is what she is and to expect more from her is just going to make you crazy!

But I love your compassion and your exasperation with her because it shows that there are lots of people out there in the world who do care about the rest of us.

Being seemingly uninterested in the world around you, or in anything that doesn't directly affect you, is a huge pet peeve of mine. And that's the vibe I get from her. Notice she doesn't hesitate on the questions about her holiday plans or her television show. But coming up with the name of another person, even a singer she enjoys, that's just asking too much.

If she were in her early twenties, I could forgive a little self-centeredness; weren't we all? But she and I are the same age, and I just don't find it cute in my peers. It's time to widen her horizons a little, IMO.

The "But why, George?" question does interest me, though. Let's be real for a minute: he's a fifty one year old formerly (currently?) heavy drinker with chronic back and neck pain and regular malaria flare-ups, not to mention various and sundry sports injuries. I'm just gonna say it: sex can't be that high of a priority anymore, and even if it is, it can't be that earth-shattering. It just doesn't seem physically possible. So that leaves what? Conversation? With this ninny? Is it really just the thrill of showing off a younger woman in public, the "look what a stud I am, I still get the 'models'" kick? I'm really curious. Why, George? WHY? Very Happy

Have to say I suspect you hit it on the button Missa. Think about all those articles that are written about the women he hooks up with. They are all framed with the " you go boy!" attitude and it gets him a lot of publicity.

Of all the parts of his life, the choices he make with women are the one area that gives me pause. First, it's like he picks the same woman over and over. They all look alike. They're clones. They're always 18-20 years younger than he is, even when he was in his 30's. They never seem to be particularly bright or articulate. They've all seemed desperate for celebrity and almost all have half naked photos of themselves wandering around the internet.

I would suggest though that as far as sex goes, George is probably taking Human Growth Hormone. It sounds like a lot of rich guys his age are taking it and it does wonders for a guy's "abilities." And, younger women are going to be more willing to cater to his needs than a woman closer in age and someone who isn't reliant on him for their livelihood.

Or, maybe George isn't as smart as he seems...don't think that's the case but it is interesting that he seems incapable of being with women who are his equal.

@alter ego, why you hating on me? I am not amarot or anyone else on here...I been just sitting back watching this soap opera for several months before signing up and watched to see who the "mean girl's clique" was, there is always a "group".
Not necessarilly are they actually mean to anybody but they run together like a pack of wolves would....whenever Joanna posts positive about SK, next post 90% of time comes party animal-not for the tag team back up move.
Lately the team to watch has been maggy and its me, last week he/she stated: "I love you babe hurry home!" next posters response was a thumbs up and (my home of course) and maggy admitted to doing mulitiple names maybe you should check with her on being amarot and those 2 must be really busy as they haven't been posting 24/7 like they had for 6 months..

then let's see Missa, Next Mrs Clooney seem to be most normal of all and tell it as it is which irrates the powers that be sometimes so they get scolded and I will probably be banned for stating this opinion but let me say this. I wasn't a big fan of George Clooney from years back as I knew nothing of him he flies under the radar for the most part. I like the man I see he is becoming as a statesman for the common man and leaving his legacy and his name that way, not how many babes he banged and what they did for a living....I caught on with the newer political movies and his humanitarian causes which I hope one day to do myself. Just interested about why some of us are not following the forum rules? And why do we have forum rules, if they are not being enforced?

I want to be Mrs. George Clooney as much as the next girl, but attacking his girlfriends, and expecting them to be or act in ways that denotes how we want them to act, and then viciously attacking their physical appearance, is pretty juvenile. Not to mention unwarranted.

I admit, Stacey does wear some pretty provocative outfits sometimes, but heck, when you've got her looks and figure, why not? She's a very pretty girl, and since none of us here knows her personally, who's to say she's not sweet in her own way?

I think fashion trends in general are hitting new lows with how revealing they've become. Even girls at my daughter's catholic high school are wearing racier outfits, and that includes how high they manage to hike those damn kilts!

I say we be more diplomatic when assessing Stacey's outfits, and perhaps start using a number rating. That black little number, in my opinion, gets a 7/10 from me. It's not scandalous, but she can probably hike up the glam meter a bit.

Yes, it is my opinion, Cindigirl, but i've read multiple comments that she's unattractive everywhere; I've spoken to numerous people from media, entertainment & all walks of life, who state that his last two girlfriends look awful. Then the next question that pops up is whether he's gay. Yet he's not.

People are bemused how someone so HUGE, trashy & plain, with so much cosmetic work done & so may stylists is with Clooney. His choice, of course. SUCH AN UNBALANCED COUPLE!

Wow I dont come here that often anymore but I really picked game day today. Thanks Subee for the compliment I appreciate it. I guess being one of the most normal on here and calling a spade a spade isn't really what most people want as I seem to be hated by many. But do I care? No!!! I'm glad to see people are waking up to some on this site and not taking the BS. As for the alleged "trolls" I think they are funny and its great to laugh with all the bullying that takes place. As for Stacy is she ugly, No. Is she stunning, no. Is she trying to be something that she is not, YES!!! That is the most annoying quality of all. I will not believe you are British until you recite a complete list of all of the body modifications (piercings/tattoos/etc.) of the entire royal family, starting with Queen Elizabeth I. Bonus points for including the locations of said piercings/tattoos. If you cannot complete this task, I will assume you are a puppet of His Lordship (is that Stan or Katie? I'm not clear).

And to whoever suggested the number scale for rating Stacy's outfits (I can't go back to through all that mental illness to see who it was, sorry), isn't it more (or at least as) hurtful to give an outfit a 1/10 than to say "That dress doesn't fit right and the color washes her out"?
