Saw the interview last night and though it was the best one he gave this time around. He was relaxed, looked great, spoke well, and you could see that the friendship between the two of them made the interview go smoothly. It was conducted not as an interview designed to promote a film but as a conversation about G and his varied projects. I think G really hit it out of the park with this one.

I agree, blubelle. It was totally enjoyable and not the serious interview that is usually the type that CR does. Thought George was wonderful.

I watched this video last night. I think he did a great job, too! What a handsome man! In more ways than one...

Which Hollywood Star Had Bloomberg TV Staffers Starstruck?

George Clooney dropped by the Bloomberg studios this week for a taping of “Charlie Rose.” Clooney, who is a close friend of Rose’s, was in town promoting his new movie, “The Ides of March,” which opens this weekend. Clooney’s appearance caused quite a stir among Bloomberg staffers, who lined up outside the studio and peered inside, hoping for a glimpse of the star (see more pictures, after the jump).

Rose’s interview with Clooney lasted almost 40 minutes and spanned several topics — from the movie, to politics, to the now-infamous skinny dipping at Clooney’s Lake Como house. “I am frequently mistaken for you, that’s a fact,” Rose told Clooney. “Do you get the same thing?”

I have to admit, if he’s in the house, they’re going to look. I would anyway! He’s too handsome not to.
