People who have lasted 52 yrs, with all the ups and downs in life usually have a deep understanding of each other and a great abiding love for each other.

There aren't too many that do, obviously. I think one of the things that gave them their strengths is their religious upbringing. Because divorce is not an accepted scenario for Catholics (actually a No! NO! back then), they weathered storms most people today don't even get to before they call it quits. Weathering them makes the bonds of marriage and love even stronger.

Neither set of my in-laws lasted that long, but only because of death. However, you knew the love was great because neither of them even thought of remarrying. First set, married 30 yrs., second set married 27. Both husbands died and neither considered another man.

George Clooney passed his weekend with friends near his home on Italy's Lake Como. He was seen out to dinner Friday at Gatto Nero, a restaurant he often dined at with Elisabetta Canalis, in nearby Cernobbio with a female friend. Saturday, George hopped on a small boat and got behind the wheel to show his pals the vicinity. George is in Italy following a stay in LA, where he apparently struck up a new romance. George Clooney is dating Stacy Keibler, according to rumors, and she was seen visiting his California home last week. Stacy wasn't seen around this vacation home during the past few days, so it remains to be seen if she'll become a public companion like Elisabetta was for the past two years.

Know it sounds silly, but looking through some older photos, the only word that shows up is BOAT which you can also see in the latest photos from POPSUGAR. That could be the name of it - sounds like George's sense of humor, doesn't it. After all, he wouldn't want to name it after a girl as they are so fleeting.

The one time that Clooney did screw with Cheadle was when he was trying to secure a Miles Davis passion project and Clooney got a whiff of it. ”I get a note on Brad Pitt’s letterhead saying, ‘Hey Don, I just bought the rights to this Miles Davis project and I got Jamie Foxx on board already. I just wondered if I could tug on your coat a while to see what kind of music I should be using’.

I know it sounds off but just repeating article word. It sounds so George that he considers them as friends rather than employee, bought them a house and is son's Godfather. Wouldn't expect anything less of our man.
