Question... Is Stella under dressed or is Amal over dressed?  Because they sure as hell  don't look as if they're going to the same restaurant together!!

Well, it's part of Soho House, so both are appropriate..........do we think the men are inside?

As wrong as I can be about George's whereabouts at times I really don't think George is in London at the moment.  My sense is that he and Amal will meet in Como.  Or he may come to London first to check out what's going on with the house and then he and Amal will go to Como together.

From the number of times I've seen pictures of Amal out for lunch or dinner she almost always "dresses up" rather than "dresses down".  I think she enjoys fashion so much that it's fun for her.  And for this dinner she is obviously complementing Stella's own design.

She is currently arguing the case of former residents of the Chagos Islands.

But Amal Clooney took time out of her busy work schedule in order to enjoy a night out in London’s Electric House in Notting Hill with fashion designer Stella McCartney.

The 37-year-old lawyer looked stylish as ever in a black lace asymmetrical jumpsuit designed by Stella, which she teamed with nude stiletto heels.

Her brunette locks were styled in loose waves while she accentuated her stunning features with red lipstick and pink blush.

Meanwhile Stella, daughter of Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney, opted for a more casual look as she wore an orange coat over a grey top and matching skinny jeans.

The designer completed her attire with white platform shoes and a black clutch while she styled her tresses into a simple ponytail.

Amal and Stella appeared to be in great spirits as they entered a car and made their way home following their night out at the private members club on Portobello Road. 

It was straight back to work the next day for the accomplished lawyer as she watched Prime Minister's Questions from an exclusive gallery overlooking the Commons chamber.

Seated in the gallery above the Labour benches, Amal had a direct view of Prime Minister David Cameron as he took MPs' questions at the Commons Despatch Box.

The human rights lawyers left the session about 15 minutes before the end, shortly after the main clashes between Mr Cameron and interim Labour leader Harriet Harman and SNP Westminster leader Angus Robertson.

Mrs Clooney later met the Prime Minister as part of her effort to free the jailed former president of the Maldives, Mohamed Nasheed.

Amal appeared at the Supreme Court in London ealier this week to help argue the case for former residents of the Chagos Islands, who were forced to move from their homes in the 1960s to make way for a U.S. airbase.

A legal team including Clooney, which is headed by Edward Fitzgerald QC, claimed the former residents of the tiny Indian Ocean islands suffered 'a significant injustice' when moved to make way for the airbase.

The former residents have gone to the Supreme Court in London to challenge a decision made six years ago by the House of Lords which dashed their hopes of returning home to their native islands. 

Families were forced to leave the islands in the 1960s and 1970s to make way for a United States Air Force base on the largest island, Diego Garcia. The last residents of the British colony were removed in May 1973.

Courts later ruled that the Chagossians could return to 65 of the islands, but not Diego Garcia.

But Olivier Bancoult, the Chagossian leader who has been fighting in the courts on behalf of the islanders, now argues that the 2008 three-to-two majority ruling in favour of the foreign secretary should be 'set aside'.

I just recalled Amal has worn the lace outfit before. She wore it during her visit to Kentucky (specifically during the night out in Cincinatti). You could only see the back of the bodice in the photo. In this latest opportunity, you can see the entire jumpsuit. Perhaps, this is a nod for Stella - in exchange for the gift of the jumpsuit(?).

Good eye!  Yes I remember (but had to go back to double check) she had her back to the camera but you could see the detailing on the edge and the lace on the upper body.  
I think the jumpsuit really flatters her figure.  Stella must be flattered that Amal wore it on their night out together.
