Hi, I just referred to this track on the Golddigger thread....

Line in this " holding you wasn't I the king...." reminded me that this song went around and around in my head in '97, when Princess Diana died...there were so many images of the shy young girl, then dancing with John Travolta leading what looked like an intoxicatingly GLAMOUROUS life.....and then standing by her Husband looking so lost, and finally the her funeral.....this song seemed to me to sum it all up, I was very sad...enjoy...x

Also Ronan Keiting has nice "if tomorrow ever comes" I think it was originally Garth Brooks he has better voice than ronan IMO.

I remember vividly how sad she looked at Gianni Versace's funeral in '96, sitting next to Elton John.
A strange twist of fate that he would be singing "Candle in The Wind," as a dedication to her at her own funeral the following year.... 

I often wondered how we take life for granted. Here today...gone tomorrow.

Anyway, on a more cheerful note, this Garth Brooks song was really touching.
I absolutely love, "Callin' Baton Rouge"  too.

I was 13 and he was 16 (from Ireland) and we were in Rotterdam. He came to my table smoking cicar (yes) how cool is that? He asked me to dance with him, it was a slow song (I won´t tell you which). During that song I was thinking about changing my religion (to cathlic), my name ( to marry him), my homeland ( to Ireland).

I still have the pin he gave me the Irish leaf. The most valuable piece of jewelry I have so far
