200 Accomplishments of President Obama since taking office with citations

I posted this link in the Romney topic but I think it warrants it's own topic title especially since these weren't Romney's accomplishments.

If you're one of those who thinks President Obama is a "disappointment," my condolences for you not getting your unicorn. And it's time to grow up, and get over it. We have a little over two months to go before an election that will feature more political ads than you have ever seen before. We don't just have to beat Willard Romney; we also have to beat Citizens United. There will be TWO choices for president; it's not a smorgasbord. You can either work for Obama and every other Democrat (yes, including Blue Dogs), or you can sit back and watch Willard Romney complete the job of taking apart the social fabric of the country that was first undertaken by Ronald Reagan 32 years ago. That is your choice.

Obama2What makes the "disappointment" argument even more irritating is that it's simply not true. He's done nearly everything we elect a president to do, and he did it all with little support from the left, and massive obstruction from the right. .

Is he perfect? No, he's human. Does he deserve some criticism? Of course, but at this point, it really doesn't matter.

What does matter is that this president has compiled a STELLAR record given the circumstances under which he took office. If you can look at this list of the president's accomplishments and not be excited, you have a serious problem with perspective.

Pass this list around to everyone you know. And don't be afraid; unlike many such lists, every item includes a link to a citation supporting it.

THANK YOU for posting this Lorna! GAME ON! The OFA office here is already sending us out to canvass in the battleground states around us. I'm scheduled to go to Iowa on the 22nd when we get back from vacation.

The GOTV effort is going to make or break this election. They can flood the airwaves with lies and distortions but they can't combat the feet on the ground, knocking on doors and turning people out to the polls. That's how we won last time and that's what will get the President over the finish line this time.

Good old fashioned shoe leather...gets it done every time!

Edited to add: Did anyone catch the coverage of the Democratic Convention last night? Michelle Obama was FANTASTIC! She looked beautiful in her custom Tracy Reese dress and her speech was unbelievably pitch perfect! Everybody loved her...even Fox News had nice things to say!

Great post Lorna, great information. Michelle gave a fantastic speech last night, or as they said on TV - not a home run but a grand slam.

"Change is hard, and change is slow, and it never happens all at once. But eventually we get there, we always do."
-Michelle Obama-

When there's a will there's a way.

IMO,
'Can't' is for those that are dead
'Will' is for those that have a vision/alive.
