We've had lots of rain & thunder here , but mostly just hot & humid    . It's expected to be in the high 80s - low 90s for the rest of the week.Compared to what's happening in other places I guess we've been lucky. TBH I'm more worried about another round of smoke heading our way from Canada.

Question: Am I the only one not getting notifications about new posts? PAN's post about the sale of the Lake Como property was the first I've gotten in ages. I logged in & found a whole list of posts I didn't know about.

(PAN - The links you posted still/again aren't working for me. I don't know why this keeps happening,  )

Hey, LizzyNY! I've been unable to log in for a long while. Decided today to try it one last time before I asked for help...

Anyway, hope you're safe from the flash floods.

I'm going to cruise around to see what I've missed.

Way2Old - Hope everything's ok. Was COH the only site you were having problems with?  I just wasn't getting any COH notifications but I was able to log in. I have had trouble logging in to some other sites recently though. Seems like the trouble comes & goes.

Anyway, hope all is well & you're back to stay. You've been missed.

Annemarie - How are things where you are? Did you have much flooding? We're in good shape, but landline phone service is out. Lord knows when that will be back. Hope you're safe & dry. (The weathermen are saying thewill come out tomorrow. Now I've got that song from "Annie" playing in my head!)

I  live near the fdr and that was flooded , some streets as well but we are doing good.

Yep, COH was the only one I couldn't get in; it would either tell me my password wasn't correct or that I wasn't authorized to use the site. Totally weird. I thought you guys had taken a vote or something

Way2Old- I've been running into that problem on a couple of sites, but not COH. I just wasn't getting any notifications. Maybe the internet gremlins are at work.   We'd never vote you out!

Has anyone heard anything about George's film on the OSU scandal? People are asking about it on his Twitter page & one poster claims it's being shelved by HBO & other conservative interests in Hollywood. I find that hard to believe, but I do wonder what's taking so long.

Considering Jim Jordan is being proposed for speaker of the House, now might be a good time to put the film out there.
