Amal Clooney leads the star-studded Prince's Trust Awards red carpet in a sweeping floral gown as she joins glamorous Phoebe Dynevor and Fearne Cotton (but no George) for annual charity event
By JASON CHESTER FOR MAILONLINEPUBLISHED: 09:22 EDT, 24 May 2022 | UPDATED: 13:54 EDT, 24 May 2022
The Prince's Trust Awards were given a touch of Hollywood glamour on Tuesday afternoon as Amal Clooney made a glamorous appearance at London's Theatre Royal Drury Lane - albeit without A-list husband George.
The human rights lawyer led a star-studded red carpet convoy that also featured popular Bridgerton actress Phoebe Dynevor and TV presenter Fearne Cotton as the annual event got underway within the iconic Covent Garden venue.
Sponsored by TK Maxx and HomeSense, the special event celebrates individuals and organisations supported by the charity who have achieved incredible accomplishments, with the winners given the opportunity to share their stories.
Launched by Charles, Prince of Wales in 1976, the charity assists young people from disadvantaged and impoverished areas in developing key life skills while providing the opportunity to develop stable careers.

Special appearance: (L-R) Amal Clooney, Phoebe Dynevor and Fearne Cotton led the red carpet glamour as The Prince's Trust got underway at London's Theatre Royal Drury Lane on Tuesday afternoon
Greeting onlookers ahead of the ceremony, Amal, 44, looked stunning in a red floral dress that served to compliment her slender physique as she posed for photos.
Conventional white stiletto heels completed the outfit, while a tasteful white leather clutch appeared to be her only visible accessory.
With no George on the day due to filming commitments Amal was accompanied by her glamorous mother Baria Alamuddin, whose stylish cream co-ord ensured she claimed her own share of the spotlight.
The lawyer was attending the event to hand out the Amal Clooney Women’s Empowerment Award sponsored by Charlotte Tilbury; the award highlights the work of young women who have pushed against the limitations and made a lasting difference in their communities.

Make way: Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway was also in attendance at the charitable awards ceremony
Elsewhere rising star Phoebe, 27, caught the eye in a fitted black trouser suit with wide lapels and a cropped length that partially exposed her torso.
Not to be outdone, TV regular Fearne made her latest public appearance in a tastefully sequined ankle-length dress, entirely in keeping with her typically bohemian sense of style.
The 40-year old completed the look with a pair of strappy sandals, while costume jewelry helped enhance the overall ensemble.
Other guests on the day included Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway, who caught the eye in a colourfully printed floor-length dress.
Former boxer Nicola Adams also joined the party with pregnant girlfriend Ella Baig, and the young influencer's growing baby bump stood out as she posed for photos in a sweeping red gown.
Hollywood stars Tamsin Edgerton and Josh Hartnett added further glamour to the event, as did a very dapper looking Sir Ben Kingsley.

Drury Lane has undergone major renovations in recent years, reopening in July 2021 with the Frozen musical currently showing.
Inside the theatre, Charles spoke to Bridgerton stars Jonathan Bailey and Phoebe Dynevor, with the former joking that he expected the raunchy Netflix show to "be on for the next 50 years".
Bailey told the prince the series has been shooting in Bath and described the city as "stunning".

The awards ceremony is on tv tonight and Prince Charles started it 30 years ago and it's a great scheme which empowers disenfranchised youth across the Commonwealth and the world.
