And Amal Clooney made sure to take some time for herself as she was spotted in between appointments in Los Angeles on Monday afternoon. 
The 40-year-old philanthropist stayed warm in the crisp winter weather wearing a long-sleeved black sweater and chic pink pants as she exited a vehicle.

Cute! Amal Clooney made sure to take some time for herself as she was spotted in between appointments in Los Angeles on Monday afternoon
Amal seemed ready to run a few errands as she stepped out of the large black SUV wearing a dark sweater.



Perfectly tailored pink harem pants hugged her waist with adorable pleats adding form to the billowing pants. 
The tie-dyed trousers were hemmed just above her ankles to reveal a pair of black leather booties.

Amal Clooney, ladies and gentleman, can we get a round of applause? The brunette beauty AND brains stepped onto the stage at the Watermark Conference this afternoon to lead a much-needed discussion about gun control.
She opted for a punchy printed number picked hot off the DVF fall runway-- indeed proving that professional dressing doesn't always have to be drab and boring.
For this collection, Diane von Furstenberg pulled inspiration from archival prints seen perfectly represented on Amal's retro, geometric stunner. We love the playful nod to mod pattern that cheerfully contrasted with the white leopard print collar.

Speaking at the Watermark Conference in San Jose on Friday, the international human rights lawyer said she and actor husband George would be joining the March For Our Lives in Washington on March 24.   
'I'm blown away by these students,' Amal said, referring to the survivors of the Feb. 14 Florida school shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School where a former student killed 17 people. 'They are the best vehicle and best hope for change... The march we're attending is their march. They give me hope.'

Oh brother.  This is fashion?????????????????  And what's with the huge black belts around her upper arms?

Amusing thing - this "look" probably costs a fortune.

PP - I'm trying to be kind. I think the "belts" are part of her sweater. The pants are just horrible! This isn't quirky fashion sense - this is a fashion victim - or a blind lady! Ugh! (Although, by the look on her face she knows this outfit is atrocious.) Has to be the most unflattering thing I've ever seen her in - and it would look awful on anyone who wore it. Maybe her mirror broke!

Well, it is very attention-getting.

If she likes good for her. I wouldn't wear it but hey I'm not her.

Maybe it fit her mood for the day .  I don’t like the pants at all.  But not a surprise for Amal.  She pushes the fashion norms sometimes.  I like almost everything Amal wears.  I think she has a really smart fashion sense. But this look is definitely not everyone’s cup of tea ...

Donnamarie - Not this time! There's a difference between fashion forward and ill-fitting and unflattering. Just because some "designer" comes up with something doesn't mean anyone has to wear it! This mess is just ugly and it doesn't get any better just because Amal is wearing it!

HaHaHa! I thought she was carrying belts into the store for a fitting or something. Only now noticed they're buckled around her arms as part of the 'shirt.' Some things just say "I'm trying way too hard to be different." It's okay to be plain once in while.

The pants... Well, I don't think they're fun, or cute, or flattering, and she doesn't pull off the look at all.

I don't think there's anyone alive who could pull that off! Actually, nobody dead springs to mind either.

When I saw the outfit from the front, I kind of liked it, but then from the rear and full length tucked into boots, nope. Just nope.

I really do like the bondage t-shirt though. Not being sarcastic, I really do like it.

Maybe she got the pants at the same shop George gets his jeans! 

Bondage T-shirt? Is that what it is? Thought maybe she'd found a way to carry both babies and still keep her hands free for her phone.
