La star Sean Penn a fait monter la température de plusieurs degrés dans la grande salle de la COP21 au Bourget (Seine-saint-Denis), hier. En s'asseyant simplement sur un cube en bois, le comédien américain a pris possession de la scène comme aucun des participants à la Journée de l'action, consacrée aux initiatives non gouvernementales.

« Le moment n'est plus au rêve mais à l'action », a commencé le comédien, qui a créé une association contre la déforestation. Hier, une autre star de Hollywood, Leonardo DiCaprio, créait des attroupements dans les couloirs de la COP. Ce militant écolo glamour est resté une partie de l'après-midi bien à l'abri dans les salons VIP à interviewer Christiana Figueres, la secrétaire Climat de l'ONU, pour le prochain documentaire qu'il réalise. « Avant le 11 décembre, on attend aussi George Clooney et Brad Pitt, mais on ne sait pas quand », confie un membre du secrétariat sous couvert d'anonymat, pour qui ces célébrités avec « leurs accréditations et les attentions bien particulières dont elles bénéficient sont des délégations à elles seules ».
