Amal Clooney shows off her chic sense of style in a pretty pink two piece as she leaves London home with luggage in tow 


Together with her movie star husband, Amal Clooney is well used to the jet-set life with the couple flitting between homes in London, Los Angeles, New York and Italy.
And on Monday the Lebanese-British lawyer pulled off another super chic travelling ensemble as she emerged from the London home she shares with husband George in a pretty pink outfit.
Looking summery in the skirt and top, the 37-year-old seemed to be off on another trip as she carried a matching set of luggage to her car.

George Clooney's wife looked effortlessly elegant in her matching sleeveless top and skirt, which flashed some leg thanks to its wrapover design.


Amal ditched the heels in favour of some buckled black flats, perfect for travelling, while she accessorised with some sunglasses and left her tumbling locks loose around her shoulders.
The lawyer pulled a small suitcase topped with a matching holdall out of her home, and added some fun to her chic look with a Les Petits Joueurs Alex Lego purse.

Amal and George have been enjoying some time off together at the US actor's home on Lake Como this summer, hosting family and friends and indulging in romantic date nights.

The busy pair are juggling their high flying careers with life as newlyweds, and if rumours are to be believed, Amal could soon be adding another string to her bow. 
The Sunday Express reported this month that the successful lawyer and activist could soon gain even more fame as the new host of The Celebrity Apprentice.
Amal is reportedly on the short-list to replace the ousted Donald Trump on the NBC reality show in the US.
'Since she rarely says anything in public, there is still something of an air of mystery to her,' the source explained.
'We think she could be a perfect fit.'

'As well as the cachet of being married to George, she is also a highly respected figure in her field,' the source told the publication.
NBC is rumoured to be looking for a woman with both a business and celebrity background after the network cut ties with Trump in June following his comments about Mexican immigrants during his Republican presidential candidate campaign.
NBC's entertainment chairman, Bob Greenblatt, announced last Thursday, while at the Television Critics Association Press Tour, that the hit show would not be back next season, but will return in the future with a new host.

Yep the rumors will fly just ridiculous.

That can't be the Sonning estate, can it, with a picture that close...? It looks more like the front of an apartment or condo building.

But if it is their house, I won't bother to state the obvious.

That's  Amals apartment building she was seen leaving there before she and George were married.

Way2Old - I'm guessing it's her London flat. I don't think the Sonning house is ready yet and this is more convenient anyway if she's in the UK for work.

Yes Annemarie and Lizzy, I agree that definitely looks like her flat in London.

Personally I think her outfit is lovely, especially with her tan.  And the shoes are really cute.  But I don't like them together at all.  Again, think this is a reflection of Amal's quirky style.  Her pairing them together doesn't surprise me at all.

Baby rumors have begun. Perhaps that was the announcement at the family gathering in July. As Way2 stated before, the shuffling to hide her profile as she exited the restaurant may not have been too off base. We haven't seen a profile photo lately....just strategic front and back shots. Hmmm...

Every time she wears something lose it is said she is pregnant. If and when they do get pregnant I'm sure we will know for now I don't think so.

The photos at Villa D'Este had frontal views of Amal in her McCartney outfit.  It looked very fitted through the bodice.

She does wear a variety of styles and many of the tops are breezy or loose fitting.

Didn't like the outfit or the shoes and definitely not the outfit and the shoes together. 

I totally understand why some don't like the combination.

But for me. Wow. Just wow.

Unpredictable. Risky. IMHO it works. And that takes pizzazz.

I really like the outfit - and love the Lego bag. The moment I saw the first picture I thought she might be pregnant but you're right she wore loose outfits before and obvisiously wasn't pregnant.

oldweston tho I don't like the combo your description is right on. Risky and unpredictable absolutely. That's the thing about Amal and her fashion choices. She dares to be conventional. I on the other hand tend towards conventional. But it almost always works for her.

She probably has the wedding band on her right and just switched them around.

She switched fingers with the rings she put the engagement ring on her wedding finger and has the wedding ring on her right hand.

Here comes the cranky old bat again. The bag is cute, the shoes are too and they look a lot more comfy than the platforms she usually wears. The outfit is really avant garde and the color suits her.

That said, she looks like she decided to wear everything she was taking on her trip instead of packing it. Nothing goes together! The outfit is resort casual, the shoes are more for cold weather than summer - they're too heavy for the dress - and the bag is too summer for the shoes and too "Hello Kitty" for the dress - much too unsophisticated. To top it off, she's carrying a black leather jacket - the perfect summer accessory (I guess they're going for another motorcycle ride ). This is the woman who's supposed to show us all how to dress for the occasion?! What occasion was she dressed for here?

You can hate me if you want to, but just because Amal is wearing something doesn't make it automatically wonderful. Even she can have an off day, and IMHO this was a doozy!

I don't think she is supposed to show us anything she has her style and likes it. I wear what I like no one has to follow Amal. I find the outfit odd but then I don't have to wear it if it makes her happy then it's wonderful for her.

annemarie - I was referencing the Vanity Fair article Silje posted yesterday. They're the ones who feel she can teach us all how to "dress for the occasion."

It looks to me like all these items were sent over by the designers in the morning and she decided to wear them all at once. JMHO. She can wear whatever clothes she likes - even all at the same time!

I quite like that outfit on her and love the colour. I'd love to have a bag like that but what I really really love is her earrings. I think they're gorgeous. 

It looks to me like she has put on a little weight, her arms look less bony and I think it suits her. Perhaps she enjoys the Italian food as I do but I'd eat a little too much gelato.

I love the bag and earrings.

Amal has a gorgeous collection of earrings. I haven't seen a pair on her yet that I don't like. These are beautiful.

Not sure but I believe that while North Americans wear wedding rings on the left hand - most Europeans (not all) and large swaths of the rest of the world wear the band on the right hand.

Forget the outfit, forget the shoes. I want that damn luggage set. GEEZUS it's gorgeous!!

But of course, it's the kind of luggage one only uses when ONE is flying on a private jet cause could you see some baggage handler at a commercial airline throw those bags around? Hell, they'd probably drop them in a puddle just to be snarky.

But I love it! (And yea, I'll take that private plane ride too!)

  It just hit me - throw in the cost of the luggage and you could pay my bills for the next 4 months on this outfit alone. What she spends for clothes in a week could support me for a year! Sigh... It must be nice to be rich.

I like the shoes but with a pair of jeans, as well as the top. Like the luggage as well. Engagement ring on left hand, well ok then. Wonder where she's going, certainly not to work. She add light highlights to her hair.

I seriously doubt George will go broke he probably gives her a nice chunk of change to spend plus her salary so no problem paying for her stuff.

I was joking about him going broke paying for her clothes. Actually, unless he's dictating what she should wear, I see no reason why he should pay for any of it. She works. She's a world famous lawyer, who I assume is well paid and she comes from a wealthy family. There are some expenses of hers that I can see him covering, and some that they might share - but, IMHO, her wardrobe should be her responsibility.

He probably gives her a set amount of money each month that she can do what she pleases with.

annemarie - He probably does. My point is that unless he's expecting her to do things she can't afford to do he shouldn't have to give her an allowance. She has her own money.

As I said, there are some things I think he should pay for and some expenses that maybe they should share. IMO her wardrobe should not be his responsibility unless he is telling her what to buy.

George doesn't have to give her anything, I think George is the kind of man who takes care of his wife and shares the wealth with her. I can't see George asking amal to pay half of anything or a bill at all. He seems old fashioned and the kind of man who would want to make sure his wife has everything she wants.

He said himself he is old fashioned  and couldn't have a woman pay when they went out. I don't know if anyone else remembers him say this in an interview

Maybe, there is no allowance and she is allowed to spend whatever she likes who knows.
