Why I Won't Go See Hail Caesar
Can't stand Josh Brolin. Freakin wife beater. http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,1009993,00.html
This may be the reason for me NOT to see the film.
Definitely a double standard in Hollywood.
Bill Cosby is vilified (not that he probably doesn't deserve it) but the Sean Penn's (another freakin wife beater who beat Madonna with a baseball bat -- http://www.lipstickalley.com/showthread.php?t=299705
and Josh Brolins of the world continue working.
Brian Singer still directing but that's okay doesn't matter that he's a freakin pedophile as long as he rakes in the money.

I think that's not fair for the rest of the cast and all the staff behind this movie.
I went to see Singer's latest X-men film and loved it. Just cant help to see it.
A very good film...
Josh Brolin seems to get a lot of big roles recently...including a part in Marvel franchise.

Anyway they wont introduce such a small comedy to theaters here as they just dont sell and we have limited quota for foreign films.
So it makes no difference for me. Looking forward to seeing it at home.
I like Channing, Hill and Finnes also.

Re: Why I Won't Go See Hail Caesar
I can't abide men who beat their wives. Hollywood should refuse to hire these creeps but they don't.
Their indignation is selectively placed so. I prefer not to give my hard earned dollars to films that hire them or are directed by them.
I think my life will not suffer for passing on their work.
If George and the Coens choose to overlook their egregious actions then that's their choice but then my choice is not to spend my money on their films.

Yep, people have selective memories when it suits them (what's private is private sort of stuff)
I note that Christopher Lambert, another of Diane Lane's ex husbands, also has a part in the film

I confess I had never heard that Josh Brolin assaulted his wife. You mean Diane Lane? Is that why they divorced. Somebody fill me in please.
