People's Choice Awards 2015 hosts, nominees announced

Both the nominees and hosts were announced Wednesday for the 2015 People's Choice Awards, set to air from the Nokia Theater L.A. Live on Jan. 7 from 9 p.m. - 11 p.m. ET on CBS.

Executive producer Mark Burnett revealed that Anna Faris and Allison Janney, stars of CBS' sitcom "Mom," will host the show. The actresses were also on hand Wednesday to help announce the nominees at the Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills, California.
The People's Choice Awards honors favorites in TV, film and music. Voting is open now for all 58 categories on PeoplesChoice.com, Facebook and mobile applications. It closes Dec. 4, with winners revealed during the live broadcast in 2015.

Interesting that the 'Favorite Dramatic Movie Actor' category is all guys from the old guard; no new up-and-comers. (And George, Brad, Matt, and Ben all together. Awww.)

If I remember rightly, George gets nominated for this most years but doesn't actually attend. Am I right?

I can't remember that he's ever attended.

What date is the Golden Globes? Because even if he had a notion to attend this (which I doubt), he almost certainly wouldn't do it if it falls before the Globes. I'd bet he has some sort of deal with the Globes group that he and Amal will make their first movie award appearance there.

The Golden Globe is on January 11.

Never seen George there doubt he'll ever attend.

Okey I voted in some of the categories. I skipped: Favourite Dramatic Movie Actor, since they nominated five moviestars and none of them are good enough caracteer actors in my opinion. Maybee RDJ but I was never really a fan of his.

Are you kidding me Siljie? George is an Oscar-winning actor and he is better at acting than any of the four other stars. Ben ,Matt and Brad won the Oscars for producing or writing, but they're not good enough to win one as an actor.
Anyway to make up for your skip, I've voted several times for George in that category.

No, I am not kidding you Sevens. I didn't think they nominated any actor in that category that I thought deserved the Title Favourite Dramatic Movie actor. And in my opinion it is not the best actors that win the Oscars but the ones that the business like. It's a popularity contest. George said himself that there are certain roles he could do and I agree with him. In my opinion he is not a great actor. I see him as a hot moviestar.
