I couldn't decide on this one. I think the calibre of the advert definitely impacts what I think of the star. Jennifer Aniston is currently shilling for some internet company on TV in the UK. I was a little shocked to see her doing it and wondered how desperate she must be for money.

Had she been touting some luxury brand then I don't think I would have blinked twice at it.

So I guess as long as George sticks to the high end brands, the ones that compliment his image then I'm all for it. But when I see him flogging internet or a bank then I think it makes him look bad.

And I say that as a fan who knows that he's doing it for the money and has a really good use for that money, but even so.

It is my understanding that the money from adverts allow George to do other projects/causes that are not profitable. So I feel that he knows what he is doing about how to manage his finances. He is not going to any that are out & out going to hurt his career. JMHO
