Ok we'll lock this one for a while what the hell shouldn't be any more reason to post here anyway. Comments can be made in the denial thread.

I agree she's over and done with (if she was even 'done' at all recently) but some posters have this terrible need to hang on to and rehash everything about every woman George may have once slept with.

For that reason I keep all the exes' threads open for comment for the tiny handful who somehow just can't let go. Will unlock this one for the masochists out there who just love hurting themselves.

I was hoping we could stop assisting in her self promotion by insinuating an association with George that obviously does not exist yet she tries keeping it alive with her twitter posting.

Hopefully, sense will reign and we won't have to go continue to go through pages of her inane twitter stuff on here.  HA!

This is 'interesting'. Do you remember Ms Jakisic going to Chateau Marmont (I think) with a friend and TMZ filming her? That friend was Carly Steel. Doesn't she report for Access from time to time?

I'm betting that George is going to disappear for while to let things settle down. He may still meet people to discuss his projects, but I'm betting that the meetings will be more discrete in terms of location.

I wonder why Monika is doing this? It can't possibly help her self esteem let alone her career to pretend like she is dating him when he just stated he isn't dating anyone. I am thinking this is all an attempt to get back together. That meeting they had earlier this year must have been some kind of a hum dinger. Of course, I do get the love of George Clooney. Most of us here get it, but we all know, well most of us do, that it is just fantasy. The closest most of us will get to George will be at a movie premiere waiting outside for an autograph. I say she has had a taste of the good stuff and wants it back, but he just won't come out and play. Monika, give it up, time is up for your fantasy. Either move on or get a Clooney Open House ID and play pretend like all of us other horny broads do. LOL

In all fairness to Monika, it may not be her that is spreading these rumors. The gossip mags & celebrity programs will make things up and print any thing. George sells magazine & brings in viewers and that is their only interest.

I think she is not helping. She could dispelled the rumors but it keeps her name out there. It may all be innocent, but she could discontinue this, but is enjoying it too much.

OK- I do believe George's denial, but I also wonder about his definition of "dating." He has claimed he never dated Krista Allen and I've never figured that one out. Maybe his definition of "dating" is like Bill Clinton's defitinion of sexual relations--it is parsed very carefully. I think most women (my age at least) would say that if you were provided with food and/or a beverage and had any type of sex, it's a date. Guys may not see it that way. I am not saying this has happened with Monica--I have no clue--but it makes me wonder.

I observed her Tweets out of curiosity. She really was pushing an agenda, creating an illusion that she's in a romantic relationship.  
Similar pattern to what Stacy Keibler built up in her Tweets as a lead up in 2011.  Planting seeds open to interpretation...
Perhaps there's a gossip PR mediator who guides them along.
Only Clooney decided in September 2011 to proceed with Keibler, so there was some truth in it.   

Now with Jakassic, she possibly was milking the media speculation. She may have confided to a few of her friends that it's real or she's been advised to do so by some gossip PR mediator, who may have even paid for her trip to LA & her hotel accommodation on Sunset Blvd.
Some of her Tweets are so corny & she's almost hysterical in superficial over-enthusiasm. So now she may have lost face if she told her friends that they were secretly dating.

Hence proceeds to refute Clooney's denial. Making him seem like a liar.

He adamantly denies having dated her in years.
The gossip tabloids like US Weekly claimed dinner in London in May followed by nightclub, and at the Connaught (hanging out in the lobby cause they can't find a room  last week), etc That constitutes "dating."

I believe a gossip publicity mediator is guiding her to do this at the very least. Or she's desperate to use his name for self-promotion.
Maybe she's even bitter that he chose Sarah Larson over her in 2007, when he was sleeping with both around the same period. He probably didn't promise either of them anything, nor misled them with lies. It was just "fun."
Then he may have told Jakissic that his management wanted him to proceed with Larson publicly.

But then again, Clooney is the most high profile man to whom she's been romantically linked, so she would want to be on positive terms to benefit from it for whatever she schemes to acquire.

Totally agree.

Plus, I can kind of agree with George on this one (but not Krista Allen): partying/sleeping with someone may be a date, but it's not dating, even when done regularly over a period of time. Dating are the first steps that hopefully lead into a relationship and has a meaning. Just sleeping with, partying with and having dinner with doesn't mean anything more than that.

The one thing that amazed me with this denial - and I'm surprised no one else has mentioned this yet - is the seeming admission that George had dated Monika in the past . . . perhaps they were just being polite wording it that way?

Funny Katie I did see that and wonder but I couldn't remember if she was an "official" or not....although those photos of them on the yacht made it obvious they were more than "friends"....

Dating implies seeing someone casually on a romantic level...
So, according to the denial in People magazine by Stan Rosenfield:

"George wants this Monika crap to stop..."

Followed by

...and a source close to the actor says much of the same: "George is not dating, nor has he dated Monika in several years..."

I guess this more or less spells that he hasn't been involved with Monika Jakisic since they were on Diana Sanela Jenkins' boat in August 2007.
I guess that was their "dating."
No other photos of them together have emerged since August 2007.

How do people find all this time for tweeting? Dont they have lives?

Before my accident, when I was working, I had three jobs. I wouldnt know how to tweet if I had to. Now that Im not working, Im down to two jobs, and that keeps me from being here as much.
