Th person who did this is tremendously talented IMO, but am I the only one who finds this just a little disturbing?

Thanks Henway for the find.

Should you wish to purchase this (why oh why?!), you can find it on eBay:

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Starting bid: US $125.00

The auction ends 19 May 2012

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Finally found a doll that would work for a George Clooney ( an ooak that ive wanted to do for awhile now ) Hope you like Surprised)

Before his repaint, I did some resculpting around the hairline and his mouth to get a better likeness of George. To repaint his face ( and hair ) I first carefully removed all of his old facepaint as I do all my repaints. I repainted him by looking at pictures of George Clooney. I use quality acrylic paints ( Golden ) and all paint has been sealed with artist sealer for permanence and protection. He also has detailed facial shading with pastels to give him a more realistic look. He will come dressed in the outfit he is pictured in ( black shirt, black pants, and black dress shoes ) If your a George Clooney fan, you wont want to miss this ooak!

ABOUT ME: I have been repainting dolls now for over 10 years and last six focusing on celebrities. Before dolls, and as far back as a preteen....Ive been doing portraits ( which is what Ive always loved to do ) starting to draw celebrities like Bette Davis and Elizabeth Montgomery from my dads Hollywood books. Pencil and pen used to be my medium, now its acrylics. My canvas used to be paper, now it is dolls ( which I do love and also collect ) I do still draw portraits when time permits, but repainting dolls will also be a part of my life ( for as long as im physically able Surprised)

All my dolls come with a Barbie display box ( unless the larger Tonner dolls ) and signed card.

All my dolls come from a smoke free home

For more information about me and my dolls, go to my about me page ( just click on my ebay ID, then the "me" icon next to my ebay name/ID ) You can also find "the Barbie Canvas" on facebook and "Laurie Everton" on Twitter Surprised)

Any questions, email me, I will answer all. Shipping is 8.00 for priority mail ( which includes signature confirmation ) more for international shipping ( email me for international shipping charges if unsure of amount, or any questions you might have about my shipping International ) Payment is due within 7 days of auction end unless other arrangements have been made ( must email me first ) I do have a lay a way plan if ooak goes over 300.00 ( email me for details )

Thanks for looking, Laurie:)

Now, if it was life size, a little more hair, a little stubble, AND anatomically correct, I'd buy one. Also, voice-activated!!!

Me too! I think it's because they're so lifelike which is a credit to the artist who made it, but clearly lifelike isn't something I appreciate in an inanimate object!

Funny that CindiGirl! The pictures of George I keep pinning to my pillow get all crumpled up and damp and the pins keep poking me in the forehead!!

He wouldn't want that to happen to you - how about you get someone who can crochet you a pillow with a picture of George so you can sleep on his head (or wherever you want to sleep on him).

You can see I'm into pillows.

If I had money and a job Mad , I might buy it. Overall, I think it is cute. It makes me laugh. Laughing

However, I do wonder if George is really "Okay" with the concept of selling a doll that is his look-a-like. I am sensing he might secretly be spooked affraid about it, because people might buy the doll to perform voodoo hexes and create body pain sensations for him. There are some weird people out there.

I would just be concerned that some weirdo would take the doll look-a-like to a George Clooney real live presence event. The weirdo would keep the George doll in public sight and talk to it as if it were really George. Then as real George is performing, the weirdo would talk to the George doll to tell him how he is performing as real George is performing (kind of like a present moment critic) The weirdo might also do little crazy things to the doll in public to initiate body pain sensations poisson davril while he is performing or even worse, do things to the doll to create an event or mini events of public humiliation It happens for real life George.

The real question is which would George be most uncomfortable Stretchered out with? Body pain sensations or mini events of public humiliation? scratch

I am just concerned for REAL George. I need to understand these pertinent details so that we can better protect him from these episodes of crazy!!! clown

hmh1108,
When others talk about Voodoo, even in a semi-joking manner, I wonder if they have deep seated anger or feelings of powerlessness. Just why do you need to talk about G in this way? Do you want to see celebs publicly humiliated or in physical pain?
