For anyone who's into classical music, I present the Blue Danube Waltz video.

Wow, that does put a lump in one's throat. The Childrens Hops in LA does celebrity blood drives and I volunteer as the photog. After donating blood, a few celebs visit the childrens wards where the children arent expected to go home, ever. I photograph the visits, and when I'm done with the shoot, and get in my car, I cry.

On December 25 1989 Leonard Bernstein conducted a performance of the Ninth in Berlin to celebrate the collapse of the Berlin Wall.

For the Choral on that occasion he changed to words to
"Ode to Freedom" from "Ode to Joy" !
With, primarily, the Bavarian Radio Orchestra (and chorus) with members of the following orchestras added:
London Symphony, New York Philharmonic, L'Orchestre de Paris, The Kirov Orchestra- symbolic of the former combattants of WWII.

Turn this up as loud as you can !!

No it's 1997....he was quite young when he did that I believe.

It was shortly after he got to Hollywood that he was Rosemary's driver, so early 80s.

Thanks, I was wondering because although her voice was still beautiful I noticed she had trouble breathing when she talked. Apparently she was having lung problems even then.

When it comes to my Lord, I speak up and say what's in my heart regardless of who gets offended. I wouldn't be where I'm at without his endless loving armor.
