George Clooney and Bill Murray are big fans of the Channel 4 gameshow Countdown, according to resident lexicographer Susie Dent.
The TV adjudicator, 58, claimed the Hollywood actors both love to tune into the British staple, on which she has appeared since 1992.
She told Metro: 'Richard [Whiteley] always reminded us that the Queen and Queen Mother enjoyed watching us. George Clooney and Bill Murray apparently also tune in.'

Re: Slow News Day
PAN - Is "8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown" still on the air? I was watching it on YouTube, but haven't seen any episodes for a while. That and QI are two of the funniest shows I've seen in ages.

Re: Slow News Day
I think it's still going, Lizzy.
And if you watch QI, that's definitely still going - as well as University Challenge and Would I Lie to You and Only Connect....all BBCtv. Also worth watching is the Michael McIntyre Show
