Yeah that hair was somethng but I think that was 70's hair. I loved the purple she wore in Venice.

When she’s not acing executive style on her way to court, Amal Clooney is photographed arm in arm with her Hollywood husband George Clooney on the red carpet. Although a rarity, Amal’s public appearances have landed her on many best-dressed lists over the years.
Each of Amal’s red-carpet looks exude old-school glamour. Take, for example, her appearance at the BFI Film Festival last year. Radiating silver-screen elegance, she wore a feathered, sequined corset dress from 16Arlington, paired with point-toe satin pumps and jewelry by Moussaieff. A week prior, she sourced an equally exuberant sparkling dress from 16Arlington’s archive to wear to the LA premiere of The Tender Bar.
Amal has been known to take fashion risks, while always looking polished, of course. At the Met Gala in 2018, she eschewed a gown in favor of a silver corset and navy trousers by Richard Quinn, complete with a floral foil cape and sculptural Lorraine Schwartz earrings. And at the Casamigos Halloween party in 2017, she paid homage to Cher in shimmering sequin separates by Halpern.
While monochrome shades define her looks, Amal occasionally experiments with pops of color. At the Venice Film Festival in 2017, the human rights lawyer marked her first public outing since having twins in lilac Atelier Versace.

Not sure I'd describe her style as 'old school'. She often goes for really quite modern styles.
