George Clooney on twitter

I just received a  notification on my Twitter account saying George is following me. I think it is a fake account. It is @georgeclooneyr it says it his official personal account. No check mark and started February 2021.  If you know how to contact anyone about this please do. I will try that Stan in a little while, found his contact number on this site.

George definitely doesn't have a public twitter account.  If he has a private one, then I'd bet it's not called anything obvious such as his real name, so it looks like you've found a fake account.

You can report it to twitter if you like.  

There's definitely a scam artist on  facebook trying really hard to pretend to be George and then asking people for money, so maybe this is something the same? This person copies my social media accounts and posts (using the same pictures, and on facebook, using the Clooney's Open House logo and picture).

There is also a scam artist on Instagram pretending to be George Clooney using georgeclooneyworld as his handle.
