George Clooney does the laundry, takes care of his kids unlike Amal Clooney: Rumor

George Clooney was recently dubbed as Mr. Mom by a tabloid because he, allegedly, does all the work at home.

Since his acting career has been slowed down by the pandemic, George Clooney has been spending most of his time at home.

With this, the Ocean’s Eleven actor regularly hangs out with his twins, Alexander and Ella.

Amal Clooney hates it when George Clooney isn’t doing anything.
According to Globe, his wife, Amal Clooney hates seeing George lying down and watching TV on the couch. As such, the human rights lawyer required the actor to do some chores at home.

A source for the tabloid claimed that George is the one that sews and does the laundry at home. And he’s also the one that takes care of their children.

“She hates to see him lying around or watching TV for hours or shooting hoops. There will be no lazy lie-ins at her house. She makes George pick up after himself and the children. She’s got him vacuuming and sweeping and doing the dishes. He cuts the kids’ hair and his own, too,” the source said.

But by the looks of it, the tabloid just took George’s words out of context. George Clooney enjoys taking care of his kids.

During a previous interview, the actor revealed that he sews his children’s clothes and he also cuts their hair. However, George Clooney also admitted that he doesn’t mind doing these things because he enjoys being a dad to his kids.

“I was a bachelor for a long time and didn’t have any money. And you have to learn how to repair things,” he said.

Rumors debunked
The tabloid also seemingly retracted their statements by saying that the actor doesn’t also mind getting orders from his wife.

“Some would say George’s totally whipped. But he’s happy to let Amal be the boss while he takes care of the kids and the chores,” the source said.

More rumors about George and Amal
This isn’t the first time that the tabloid concocted dubious claims about the couple.

Last year, Globe also claimed that Amal was furious with her husband for inviting his parents to live with them.

However, the tabloids claims were never proven to be correct because there’s no proof that George Clooney is now living with his elderly parents.
