The milestone 6-0 is still months away, but George Clooney is planning to do some serious partying for his birthday in May — and he’s sparing no expense!
"He's looking at celebrations across the States and Europe, plus a boys-only getaway to Mexico," a source exclusively tells OK!. The star, who's been quarantined at his L.A. estate with his wife, Amal, 42, and their 3-year-old twins, Ella and Alexander, "will have an intimate party there with just a few friends, and Kentucky will be with his family.

"Bashes in Italy and the U.K. are still being figured out, but George is emphatic that Mexico is where he'll be getting wild," dishes the source, who says his close pal and Casamigos partner, Rande Gerber, is organizing the boozy blowout.

"George may be a devoted husband and father, but he still likes to tie one on with the guys when Amal isn't looking," the source insists, noting that Gerber's wife Cindy Crawford will also sit out the Mexico trip. "It's guys only — no wives to babysit!"

However, once the Money Monster star returns from his getaway, he'll be back on daddy duty — a job that he cherishes. “George says fatherhood keeps him feeling young. The twins make him laugh every day,” dishes an insider, noting that the kids are total opposites. “Ella’s so dainty and subdued, while Alex is a little bruiser who’s always hungry. George jokes he’s going to be a boxer when he grows up.”

As OK! previously reported, the actor and human rights attorney are still discussing the idea of expanding their brood. "George has let his inner circle know he plans on being a dad again,” says the insider, explaining that he’s hinted to pals that a baby could arrive “sometime" after her turns 60.
If it were up to Clooney, “he’d have a whole soccer team,” continues the insider, “but one or two more will do. He and Amal aren’t getting any younger so they want to get on it as soon as possible.”
