Confession from a Clooney fan Empty Confession from a Clooney fan

Post by Admin Fri 23 Oct 2020, 17:39

Hello, my name's Katie and I run a George Clooney fan site.  You'd think that I'd be really into his films, wouldn't you?  Well, I've just realised that I've never seen Suburbicon and I've only seen Hail Caesar on an aeroplane where I may or may not have napped through a chunk of it.  I also haven't seen Catch-22.

Am I a bad fan?

Suburbicon - meh. Hail Caesar - not bad. Catch 22 - the best of the bunch and well worth a watch if you can. And, no, you're not a bad fan.( Very Happy How could you be when you run this site? And THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THAT! I love you ) I'm sure we've all missed a George film or two. I've never seen Intolerable Cruelty and I didn't see Fantastic Mr. Fox until last year.

I'll balance that out by saying some of my favorites aren't among his most popular: The American, Solaris, FDTD.

Hahah! Thanks, guys. I don't feel quite such a loser, running a fan site but not having seen all of his films (yet).

I still feel that I should, though.

I'm quite looking forward to The Midnight Sky, although not sure how I'll get to see it cos I don't have Netflix. Hopefully it'll pop up somewhere else soon after.

However, I honestly think I can live without seeing 'Calico Joe' and 'The Tender Bar', although perhaps I'll change my mind when we learn more about them as he starts filming.
