Ah! I didn't think of that.
I'm thinking that this is probably bunk. For a start, they're in LA at the moment and have been the best part of this year. What apartment would she have there? But perhaps she's got family over there and is seen popping in and out?

Also, IF this is true, could be that she had a possible Covid contact, and stayed away from the kids/main home just to be careful. Covid is a consideration for everything these days.
