Alonso's wife 'would not even swap him for George Clooney'

FERNANDO Alonso's wife says she would not even swap him for George Clooney.

Raquel del Rosario, lead singer of chart-topping band El Sueño de Morfeo, was interviewed in Italy by Milan-based national newspaper Il Corriere della Sera, in the presence of Clooney's girlfriend, TV presenter Elisabetta Canalis.  “I wouldn't change Fernando for any other man in the world,” admitted Raquel during the interview, “not even for George Clooney – but don't tell Elisabetta that, please.”

Raquel will compete in next month's Sanremo Song Festival alongside Italian singer Luca Barbarossa, where they will duet with Fino in fondo ('until the end').

Finally, Raquel admitted to the interviewer that she has not found it easy adapting to the cold and rainy climate of Geneva, where she now lives alongside her Formula One racing driver – even though she had to make a similar dramatic change at the age of 18 when she moved to the northern region of Asturias – birthplace of Alonso – from her native Canary Islands.
