George Clooney missed the annual Casamigos retreat — but called in via FaceTime to wish the staff happy holidays.
The Oscar winner — who founded the tequila brand with Rande Gerber and Mike Meldman in 2013, before the trio sold it to Diageo for nearly a billion dollars in 2017 — skipped the company getaway in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, to shoot “Good Morning, Midnight.” He’s directing and starring in the Netflix movie.
A spy told us, “George always comes away [on the retreat] with us, but this year Rande picked up his phone and it was George calling to thank everyone for their hard work.”

Is he wearing one of those official ‘‘ugly’ Christmas sweaters? Looks like it comes complete with little twinkling lights

Donnamarie - That was my first reaction, too! Maybe it was a gift from Whoopee Goldberg's line of ugly Christmas sweaters, chosen by his loving wife, no doubt.

Well if anyone call pull off the ugly Christmas sweater look it’s George.

I remember a pic with this exact manner of wearing it, but it didn't have the Christmas stuff on it then. That looks like the same pic, except for that. It was a set of pics in dif styles like black and white, off color, and some unusual types of suits, you don't normally see him in.

I thought that was very close to this picture :
